Also having someone with the experience of being a world war 1 veteran, and the mind stuff that comes with being clinically insane, dealing with the pain for your medical situation by being on opioids and cocaine, and being in a country that was split, inhabited, demilitarized, and judging by Mussolini and Stalin was apparently a time for dictators even if we don't talk about Japan. All of the fear, and the motivation to get out of your unfair inflation-adjusted 800 billion dollars of debt, and also Germany would have gone through the effects of America going in the Great depression causing a ripple effect throughout basically most of the first world countries. Correction: the V3 depicted in game was only partially completed by the time the allies captured the airframe in 1945. It would be a late 1945 or maybe early 1946 plane realistically. Flying wings existed far before the Ho229 although it was the first jet powered one but it crashed on it first test flight due to the unreliable jet engines at the time and the V2 is not an intercontinental missile, it’s just a ballistic missile it hit London only which is definitely not on a different continent.

The Ho-229(Or the Horten 229) was made in 1945 near the end stages of the 2nd world war with Nazi Germany loosing both fronts in Europe with the ME-262 being put into production in April of 1944. By July 1944 roughly about 1,400 Me-262s were built as some fought Allied Aircraft. However the Ho-229 DID fly in March 1st in 1944 but only as a glider with three confirmed builds of said Jet but on 18 February 1945, disaster struck during the third test flight. Ziller took off without any problems to perform a series of flight tests. After about 45 minutes, at an altitude of around 800 m, one of the Jumo 004 turbojet engines developed a problem, caught fire and stopped. Ziller was seen to put the aircraft into a dive and pull up several times in an attempt to restart the engine and save the precious prototype. Ziller undertook a series of four complete turns at 20° angle of bank. Ziller did not use his radio or eject from the aircraft. He may already have been unconscious as a result of the fumes from the burning engine. The aircraft crashed just outside the boundary of the airfield; Ziller was thrown from the aircraft on impact and died from his injuries two weeks later. The prototype aircraft was completely destroyed. So in short term, the Ho-229 had already been destroyed before any combat.

the only thing ahead of its time with the Horten was its junker engines and the proposed carbon stealth film they wanted to put on it, the flying wing design was also not a new idea and was only used because it allowed the craft to achieve its 3×1000 goal, capable of carrying 1000kg of ordnance and be able to fly it 1000k at a sustained 1000km/h

It's quite simple. Streamlined objects have the lowest average drag coefficient and high maneuverability. Horten opened page 5 of his physics book and thought "Hey, that's actually not a bad idea". And while flying wings have a lower radar-cross-section, they sacrifice some buoyancy and don't have much place for defensive armament.
