2005 AKA 8th grade... ICONIC! I never owned a Bratz doll either. I was "too old" for them when they came out... I say as I am 30 years old with my entire original barbie collection, clothes, furniture, food and accessories. 🤣

My 90s heart is LOVING this! 😍 I was barely a teen in the Y2K era (14-15yo) and this gave me such a flashback! I never liked the Bratz dolls but I love them modified! ❤️

She looks amazing!! I love how you kept the same kind of face style for the Bratz but also made it your own, and her clothes look *SO* good!! Great job!

The final result gives me major Winx fairy vibes, she just needs the wings and a cool magic transformation sequence!

Some of my earliest childhood memories are of me playing with my Dana Space Angelz doll at my grandma's house in the spare bedroom. Of course, being only 4 years old and having no knowledge of Bratz outside of the two dolls I owned and the four movies I had watched, I thought she was a Chloe doll. It was only about a year ago when I watched someone refurbish old Bratz dolls and heard them call my childhood doll Dana instead of Chloe. One Google search later and, sure enough, I'd had a Dana Space Angelz doll as a kid. I think your interpretation is beautiful, 4 year old me would've loved her and 17 year old me loves her too! Makes me want to go find the original doll myself just to have it again.

This is so beautiful, when I was a kid and played with Bratz dolls, I think this is what they looked like in my head. It was never as much fun in reality.

I was at the wrong age for Bratz dolls, but my sister wasn’t. She had an extensive collection. I resented them, but not for all the reasons other people did. I was just angry about their noses. I’ve always loved noses, and I just couldn’t tolerate their near lack of one. Honestly, though, they breathed life into the fashion doll market that wasn’t there before. Even at the time I saw their potential. I feel like Rainbow High is as close as any doll (“for kids”) has come to meeting my own personal ideal. Even when I played with Barbies in the early nineties, I was frustrated by their lack of articulation, the sameness of their faces and bodies, and the way every article of clothing and every accessory came in a shade of pink that made me ill. I was never a doll snob, mind you. But I prized every doll I had that stood out. My Jasmine doll, my Native American collector doll (that I immediately ripped from the package because there was no way in hell I wasn’t playing with her), even an Esmerelda doll that had a plush body. Aladdin was may favorite Ken doll. I think that’s why I love these videos so much. I know now I was never alone in seeing the potential of fashion dolls. I love seeing them given new life by people like you. It’s why I’m currently working to create my own doll. Not for sale, mind you. Just a doll I’ve always wanted, just for me. Because now I know I can. Thank you. 💕

I know I had a bratz doll but I also remember having PLETHORA of the creepy shoe feet. I remember she had darkish skin and I think glittery pink lipstick.
