You are amazing man! Thank you so much for lettting me seeing my city through your eyes. As a born and bread Athenian i really get moved to tears watching you speaking about Athens in such a positive spirit, ispite of some historical inaccuracies which are of minor importance and fully understandable. I really wish i knew you would be here, and be your guide throughout the city, since Athens is a lot more interesting and beautiful than anything you could ever guess! P.S It's a pity your tour fell on the heat wave that affected not only Greece but also the rest of Europe as well. Today, Friday the 23rd of July, it's a typical summer day far as the heat is concerned. It may be 32 C -85 F. but it feels more or less like 20 C in N. York thanks to "Etisie" (the "annuals"), or "meltemi", the northern wind blowing over Greece and the Aegean every year in July and August, our natural air-condition. All the best, best regards!

43:44 You are absolutely right. Cars should have been banned in the Plaka neighborhood. But I see it positively, because it used to be even more cars in Plaka. So they definitely curbed the car traffic A LOT during the early 2000's.

Ariel, good news. You can still save this buffering nightmare of a trip. Switzerland is announcing everywhere that they are totally open to tourists and they are giving the best deals of the season. And cell phone service is great in Switzerland. Spend a week in Athens and then fly to Switzerland for the rest of the trip. Look how close you are, how much can it cost. And it's not a hundred degrees in Switzerland. One of the most beautiful countries in the world, just point the camera anywhere there's something to see. So far Athens is reminding me of a poorer version of Miami Beach. Classic line by Ariel: "the buffering is bothering you? Well it's not bothering me." LOL

It isn’t that bad. This stream and the one I did later at night went very smoothly transmission-wise 😝 but I’m glad Switzerland is open! I’ll consider it for the near future.

@@UrbanistExploringCities It went smoothly because you didn't move. You were in a good spot and you stayed there. You can't do that very often in live videos you have to keep moving and when you do the buffering goes in and out. I know the kind of heat you're talking about when you come out of an air-conditioned building it's like walking into a pizza oven. Think Switzerland for the last 10 days of this trip

Coffee Island the Greek Starbucks us you say, is one of the best and biggest coffeehouses in Europe with 62 varieties of coffee. And it's actually much better on quality than Starbucks. Also Freddo Espresso and Freddo Cappuccino are a Greek "patent" and cannot be found outside of Greece and Cyprus. Propably in Albania because I think there are some Albanian immigrants that where in Greece and bring the freddo Espresso and Freddo Cappuccino to some coffee stores to Albania.

i like your effort but you need better knowledge of history and details,just an example there is no any theater of evripides and not several theaters there but just the one and only theater of dionysos....the greek revolution took place 200 years ago,,,etc etc
