Lala’s been off social media since the holidays, and it’s been absolutely fabulous! She also attended the Vanderpump Rules premiere party and has some stories from the soiree! The gang has more thoughts on Rachel Goes Rogue, flip-flopping vs growing, the RHOSLC reunion, and RHOBH Kyle Richards & Mauricio Umansky. Plus, Lala is shook after watching the Netflix documentary, “American Nightmare.”

So, no we would have cared about Raquel kissing Schwartz. I 100% think it was disrespectful to do what she did no matter what. Honestly watching that whole situation, when Katie very earnestly asked for her not to, and even tried to give her a chance, imo I thought her behavior was awful no matter what. I hold that whole situation right next to the Ariana situation.

Which, BTW, is made more horrendous by the fact that Schitz KNEW! He was willing to hurt Katie just to be a beard. What an absolute ass*ole. I despise him as much as Scumdoval.😊😊

Lala, you are allowed to grow and evolve just like every other human. Just because you are in the public eye doesn't mean you don't deserve the same grace we all do as we grow and evolve.

This. I love how Lala has grown over the years.I love how she calls herself out for when she was wrong in the past. I love how candid she is. And it takes a lot of strength to come up on the internet and acknowledge when you are wrong or how you have grown.

I heard on the radio that there is a company paying ppl ten grand to stay off social media for a month. I don't have social media nvr had it only YT n it's cus my mental health is important too me n I have seen ppl in my family have drama with ppl they don't know n has affected them in ways that's not healthy. My family is not famous so I can only imagine how it feels for LaLa when seeing things that can bring negative energy into her life. I am in recovery sober since July of 2010 n I know social media is not a healthy place for someone like myself n triggers I have not had n I am smart enough to know that kind of energy could be a trigger for me. Cherish ur own company n ur mental health. Mad respect too u Lala on ur journey n ur mental health.

To add to what LaLa said about American Monster on Netflix, the other issues with the cops was that it was a conflict of interest because the main FBI agent dated Aaron’s ex-fiancé, and both Aaron and Denise’s lawyers asked for him to be removed and it was refused. Aaron was still talking to his ex-fiancé at this time and was hopeful that they would rekindle their romance. The FBI agent was being very dismissive of both of Aaron and especially Denise, and even alluded that Denise made it all up as a “scorned lover.” The nutball that did all of this was actually looking for the ex-fiancé, but took Denise because she was there that night. Definitely worth the watch!

I'm going to argue the point about dating someone new after a breakup. I went through a toxic relationship before I met my husband. He was a cheater and drug user and I was so over his bs. Emotionally I had left him almost a year before but i that toxic bond was hard to break. One night i found out he cheated and that night I was done and i left same night. 5 days later I got out of bed and went to see my friend. Her bf friend was there and that's how I met my husband. He was the polar opposite of my ex and so patient and kind with me and the trauma i was working through. It does happen to healthy people, I've been sober for years and do constant growth work on myself. I never had a kid with my ex and i think things would be totally different if i did so i think that's the perspective you're speaking from

Being off social media is so much healthier. I got off social media about 2 years ago and rarely will look at something - just do podcasts and KZfaq for the most part. I don’t miss it at all. Especially facebook. Of course I’m older than you however I have friends my age (late 50’s) that are non stop with that stuff. Live real life - it goes by too fast. ❤

Great podcast, great conversation. Lala, I don't understand your background or your generation but I listen because I respect you and your journey. I can see/hear your honesty. I have seen your growth. I admire your determination to grow into the best version of yourself. Your soft heart is your strength, your warrior spirit is your light, the path you tread is for truth and justice. Don't get distracted by the false glitter of the world. You are important in the lives of those brought into your sphere. Thank you for the energy and light you expend.

You spoke about the struggle with your daughter, it broke my heart. As a parent with similar background and a single parent of a strong willed child. My child is 30 now, but looking back the things I wished I had known. My daughter was me. I hear you describe Ocean and it could be you, please find the humour in her behavior. I bet if you broke down your confrontations, they are how you handle conflict. Take a moment and laugh your ass off, and accept you have a 2 year old with 30 years of your experience on how to handle you. So advice. Give her some control over the house, electricity police. Give her a post it pads to give out tickets when you leave a room and don't turn off the light, let her set the punishments (in proportion). I bet the fine is something that spends time with you. Like Disneyland ect...set parameters, and give her some control about the time she spends with you. Trust me you do not want the next 16 years hearing what a lovely, respectful child and come home to a monster. I feel when you say you want want to just enjoy her, I feel it if wasted years. Try the Electricity Police, and maybe one for what she's taking time away from her, like the phone. Give her that post it pad, maybe you will find what the 'triggers' are ..it's a ticket from the person you love the most...and your brother and mom can participate. I admire your commitment to raising a good person ..but if you get 5 tickets...you are playing candy land. 10 tickets, candy land and her choice for dinner. Another thing, have her in the kitchen with you- a pizza cutter is the safe easy way to cut the sandwich... Only tips, but the biggest....give yourself a high five...you provide a home, clothing, food and likely every wonderful thing I can only imagine. That is amazing...you are making a good human-High Five yourself, self promote, and never give up. Keep up good work. Also any typos, it's about fat fingers and no glasses!!!

In all honesty, Lala and Raquel were never friends so if she remained on the show I doubt they would've needed a scene between the two of them where Lala "holds her feet to the fire" for kissing Schwartz or Sandoval. They would've saved those pivotal scenes for her actual friends like Scheana or Arianna. JUST SAYIN And you know she'll be back next year or the year after because there's unfinished business that the audience NEEDS to see filmed!!!

You should read the book "what happened to you" but Oprah and a trauma based psychiatrist. It's very much along the lines of what you were talking about. We don't know what traumas people have lived thru that defines who they are and instead of saying "what's wrong with you" we need to ask "what happened to you".

Taking a break from social media is great for your mental health and relationships with those around you, also a sign of maturing. 🎉 Go you 🎉 There is a nervous laugh and speaking gleefully and she was gleeful. For each person and situation is different any negative vibes takes a while longer to get over. That's human nature, plus you've got a small child to occupy your every waking thought and second of time. I'm not listening to her podcast she is not my type of girl on any level. She is just nasty, let shit go. To put Katie through that kiss etc was just despicable from both of them
