Therefore he turned himself in and created a great pirate age influencing the chosen pirate who can go the next step. Also if you think about it, rogers crew split up and crew mates are on important places on the grand line: Crocus is at the start of the grandline, giving information about log poses, rayleigh is at the half way point and coating ships to continue to the new world so yeah thats my theory thank you for reading it :)

I theorize that One Piece is more than just gold or jewels. Much of it may be items that Roger obtained throughout his legacy. Things that could help each member of the Straw Hats with THEIR dreams. There could be sea charts for Nami to finish her map, medical logbooks for Chopper to study, spices for Sanji to use; among other things

Edit after watching: I never even considered the aftermath of destroying the red line. I think that's a really good point but also something that can be fixed using the weapons. Personally, I think it's safe to say that they can wipe out a whole tsunami wave using one of the shot-type weapons considering that they were able to pierce through Aqua Laguna using only cannons, punches and sword slashes back in Water 7 and sea kings might be able to do something about the seaquakes who knows. If you dislike that idea then I think this is where the Devil Fruits truly shine. I think these fruits can greatly help them in the aftermath if they weren't already made specifically for preventing the end of the world. In the right hands, the Gura Gura no Mi can definitely help in this situation, hell even the Yami Yami no Mi can help by sucking in debris or possibly even water. Now I'm starting to think Blackbeard's gonna have a change of heart and end up helping them but that's very unlikely at the moment LOL. People like Aokiji can freeze whole bodies of water no problem etc. Basically my point is that there's a crap ton of people out there who have insane DF abilities that can help prevent the repercussions of using the WMD which is One Piece if it does turn out to be one. I really believe Devil Fruits are essential in uniting the world. Those Ancient people whom the government tried to destroy in the past couldn't pull the trigger because Devil Fruits didn't exist in their time so they had no way of ensuring safety after using One Piece but now we do, and most of the useful ones are in the hands of really powerful people. Posting before watching the video: I think One Piece is another weapon or a collection of all the weapons that will be used to unite the world into a collective "One Piece". Weapons that will be used to destroy the borders that divide the different blues and islands. Shirahoshi will probably be the key to Luffy "destroying" Fishman Island according to the prophecy but honestly I think all that means is that he's going to end up bringing the entire Fiahman Island into the surface with the help of Shirahoshi's ability. Maybe that is the Will of the D but Roger couldn't carry it out in time due to his sickness so he had to depend on the next generation of Ds to complete this mission in his stead (Also considering how much longer his journey might have been than Luffy's because he literally has to figure out everything by himself with the help of poneglyphs and his all-hearing abilities). The way of passing this mission might have something to do with the Straw Hat and he gave it to Shanks even though he's not a "D" so he could be the person to search for the worthy contender and keep unworthy Ds like Blackbeard from fulfilling the Will of D in the way it wasn't intended to be (ie. through really evil means). The Celestials on the other hand are beings tasked with preventing the D from reaching "One Piece", essentially siding with the government who, in the past have defeated the first wielders of One Piece who couldn't use this ultimate weapon in fear of destroying the world.

Definitely buying into this theory. It fits the themes so well. It would explain how the world nobles came to power in a classic divide and conquer move where the seafloor under the grand line was lifted, rotated, and dropped to make the red line in a major catastrophe triggering the void century. That would also explain the funky weather being common between the two lines. Bonus points if Laugh Tale is actually Mary Geoise where the "button" is pushed. I'm expecting Blackbeard to be heavily involved in this process at the climax of the story considering his narrative arc (setting him up as the final villain/antithesis to Luffy) and devil fruits which would be perfect for shaping geography. I'm thinking either he helps Luffy by stabilizing the planet so Luffy feels confident pressing the button and then Blackbeard betrays him to try and clear his path to solo world domination (potentially stealing his devil fruit in the process such that Luffy has to fight just using his own strength and Blackbeard gets a major buff eliminating some of his major weaknesses). Another, more direct, route would be for Blackbeard to try and undo Luffy pushing the button just using his devil fruits and Luffy has to stop him from triggering another void century catastrophe where Blackbeard would be in control as opposed to the world government.

I still hold to my theory that the gura gura no mi being able to "destroy the world" had to do with tearing the redline down cuz perhaps an awakened previous gura gura user created the redline rather than the usual explanation if whitebeard threw a tantrum the planet would crack open. Blackbeard has it now and sought it spesifically for a reason I know you have talked about the redline coming down before but i feel the gura gura is a key here and you should make a video about it and how blackbeard is targeting SPECIFIC fruits

Using the other weapons.‬ ‪- With Shirahoshi already known to be able to command Sea Kings, who knows how they’ll play into this chaos that quite literally “falls” upon them. We don’t even know what Uranos can do and I bet Pluton can be used to blast down a tsunami wave or two similar to how they pierced a hole through Aqua Laguna back in Water 7 albeit being on a smaller scale compared to what this could be.‬ ‪2. With the help of Devil Fruits.‬ ‪- You also mentioned that the Ancient Ones could’ve potentially pressed this button as well but chose not to because they were afraid of the damage it will cause. However, that was before the existence of Devil Fruits. Maybe the DFs have existed for the sole purpose of preventing whatever happens after One Piece is used. The Gura Gura no Mi, for example, could be used to contain Sea/Earthquakes while Aokiji’s fruit can be used to freeze tsunami waves or something. This leads me to believe that maybe Roger surrendered for two purposes: (1) To make the people aware of the existence of One Piece and start chaos, (2) To start the era of pirates where most people (including the Government’s side) are encouraged to grab a DF for themselves. Not only does this help make the useful ones stand out and be secured by the time the One Piece is used, it also slows down the World Government by preventing them from gathering all the necessary fruits themselves because it’s scattered all over the world. ‬ ‪My point is that Roger could’ve just been trying to slow down the WG this whole time in order to make sure that the next successor is chosen properly and is able to carry out the Will of D which is to unite the world using One Piece.‬ ‪3. Maybe they don’t stop the aftermath at all.‬ ‪- This could probably be where Enel comes to play. He’s been on the moon for quite some time and if I’m not wrong, the Ancient Ones have previously resided on the moon right? So there’s definitely some stuff there that he figures out which ties to the existence of One Piece and it’s purpose. Maybe he comes back to Earth with his Ark and let’s every living thing aboard and he finally becomes this God-like being once again after this deed. With Luffy essentially becoming King at this point, I doubt Enel would try anything funny because we know how that went the first time they clashed.‬ ‪Finally, I think this connects to your other statement where Life just somehow finds a way to exist again. It’s a little cliché I gotta admit, but in a world where Even non-living things (Merry for example), have souls, it wouldn’t be impossible to consider this as fact. With help from the DFs again, terra-forming wouldn’t be as hard as it sounds.‬ God I love this series.

Okay guys, theory time: Once Luffy finds the One Piece, he's going to, by some sort of luck, eat the one piece as an ironic twist to the plot.

There's a video on YT called "One of the best hartheories of One Piece, Inherited Will," that has a similar theory with the Red Line being destroyed (in that video the theory mentions how one of the ancient weapons could be used to destroy it), and how when all four of the blue seas come together they'll create the "All Blue" that Sanji is looking for (the video mentions specifics on that). It also mentions how one piece could be the idea of a united sea. It's been awhile since I've seen that video though (so I'm basing this off memory), but it hits hard.

Roger said he left EVERYTHING he gathered and would be willing to give to those who find it. Think about it. The One Piece isn't just treasure, it was EVERYTHING. Think, They met Krokus, Rayleigh and many people who have encountered Roger or know people who have. They're gaining knowledge that Roger obtained. What else is there for Roger to leave behind? His ship, his money and anything he ever had sailing the grand line. So the One Piece is, EVERYTHING Roger left behind.
