The One You Love was written by Chris Brown, Steven Furtick, Jason Ingram & Phil Wickham. It is from Maverick City Music’s collaboration album with Kirk Franklin entitled “Kingdom Book One” Available Now!
Kingdom was recorded with the inmates at the Everglades Correctional Institution in Miami-Dade, Florida in early March of 2022. The heart behind this project is to not only expand the idea of what the Kingdom of God looks like, but to also share and spread music and a message that taps into an inspirational and unfiltered love for all people.

My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

I was paralyzed in bed last year and I heard Jesus say out loud to me - If you believe in me get up and walk💜🕊💜 I got up and not only walked but went for a walk outside. Praise God!!!!! GOD IS ALWAYS WORKING!!!! ✌💜🕊🙏

My wife passed away 6 years ago after giving birth to our daughter. Every night, I read to her while she stares deeply into my eyes and listens intensely. I know that it probably isn't common to relate this song to a father-daughter relationship, but this song makes me miss my wife so much more. It also makes me love and cherish my daughter so, so much. I know that she won't be like this forever, and daddy won't always be her favorite person, and she will eventually get older -- but right now I'm happy, just spending time, passing it by in her arms.

God has saved me from the depths of hell. from molestation, porn, same-sex attraction, self-harm, depression, disordered eating, suicide, perversion, my weed addiction God has been with me. he called me I do not know what for but I know he has planned greatness for my life. to bring glory to his kingdom is an honour. Thank you, God for bringing me out of those times.

"When I sat by that hospital bed, You were worthy". This song has literally come into my life the hour I needed it most. My wife Melanie of 5 1/2 years was killed 6 months ago after shots were fired at our home, one of which struck her while she was reading a bedtime Bible story to our 6-month-old. I now find myself a single father with two daughters (1 & 2 1/2 years old) at the age of 26. But despite the immense pain/loss I feel, I know God is good, faithful and worthy to be praised; even when I don't understand it. So instead of cursing or blaming Him, I choose to be like Job, saying "The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord". This song is beautifully written and a wonderful reminder to never stop singing His praise!

I can only imagine how this song brings so much hope to the inmates. That God still loves them(us all) and is still their (our) friend despite all they (we) have been through or done I couldn't help but cry. This is a great ministry Maverick, Tribl and Kirk. God bless this ministry!
