For me it’s 3 bags. A bag for work, a bag for running errands, and a bag to go out to dinner/party . My favorite is the Gucci soho disco in black. I recently bought a Marc jacobs tote bag in small as my going to the movies bag.. as a mom of 4 I go prepared with snacks and drinks lol

Loved this video! I would also pick six bags, but I would divide them into three categories with a black and a neutral/beige bag in each category. The three categories: Tote/Large Size: (i.e., Neverfull, and Black Longchamp Le Pliage); Everyday/Medium Size (i.e., Beige Prada Galleria, and Black Givenchy Antigona); Small/Mini Size: (i.e., Beige Mulberry Lily, and Black Chanel WOC). I feel like with a black and a beige bag in each category you have something that will go with any outfit anytime of year.

Bonus bag: A Judith Lieberman bag that I inherited from my mother. Evening size. Black crystals on one side, leopard crystals on the other with two handles. One black beads, one a chain, but can also be used as a clutch. I swear I can still smell her perfume in it. 💜

Yes! Finally! I couldn't agree more. Five is the ideal number when it comes to handbags. That makes one for every possible occasion. An absolute maximum would be seven for me. Not more. With the right choice of bags, a collection of 5-7 bags classifies as a perfect, well-thought-out and curated collection. And the best thing is: only the most stunning and well-used bags will stay. My ideal collection of five bags: 1. My dark green Celine Triomphe (for lunches, museum visits and weekends out). 2. My Louis Vuitton Felicie pochette (for every days errands). 3. My black Saint Laurent Sunset Satchel (for any time I need a medium sized black bag, love the top handle). 4. My Bvlgari Serpenti Forever (for dinners. And drinks.) 5. Tote (for every day errands) If I could add 2 more: 6. My red Bottega Veneta mini BV classic (for a pop of color) 7. My beautiful pearl clutch for weddings, events and special occations. Et voila!

What a great video, Minnie! You’ve inspired me to look at my bags and try to answer the same question. For starters, I would need my Chanel black lamb skin Golden Class WOC for dressy occasions. For travel, I’d bring my LV Favorite in Damier Azure, very versatile with crossbody strap and hand held gold chain. For winter/hand held, I choose my YSL small Cabas in black, and for summer/crossbody, my YSL small Loulou in dark beige. For very casual and bad weather, I love my little Fendi camera bag. I don’t usually carry totes on a daily basis, but I would also need a straw non-designer tote for the beach, so that would be my extra. 😀

I use my Neverfull for work, LV Pochette Métis & Gucci Soho Disco on weekends (I have two toddlers, hands free is LIFE), & I have a beige YSL envelope flap bag that is such a dressy beauty! I made a bag plan in 2020. In the ideal situation I would have 7 bags. This will never become a reality since I love to switch my bags often. I do try to keep max 2-3 bags in a category because I don't live in a castle and therefore storage space is an issue...all of these bags I already own besides the Delightful and Dinky. 1. Mini I realize that I have too many and not near as much as you. I guess age is telling on me. I get a headache when I see so many bags and things in general. Mine would be the black caviar WOC and a black Toy Loulou as the super versatile bags, two Pochette Metis,mono and reverse, for two everyday bags, the Nano Luggage for travel. That’s literally what I have now (plus the Boite Chapeau Souple MM as a more unique piece that’s super practical as well and a second Toy Loulou), I purged more than 30 bags in the past two years. I’m getting older and grumpier, sorry wiser, it seems. I used to be an avid collector, now I can’t stand to have objects I don’t use cluttering up my space. PS. A runner up for amazing travel bag is the Puzzle. I only got rid of it because my hands are ridiculous in winter and the Puzzle’s zipper scratched them up every time I reached inside. Otherwise, it’s stellar.

Neverfull mm, speedy 30, neonoe, siena mm and double zip pochette. Those are the only bags i own and I feel my collection is complete.

The Givenchy Antigona looks lovely . I have it in off whitish , I only used it once . I think I like this black better .

This is hard! I would need two work bags. One tote and one medium size bag. Most days I get by using a medium size bag, but if I have meetings/conferences/courts/classes then I would need a tote. 1. LV Speedy bandouliere 25 in Ebene OR Givenchy medium ID bag in black. I can't decide between these two...but they serve the same purpose in my collection. One brown and one black. 2. Coach tote in black Then I would need a going out/dinner bag. 3. Chanel WOC Then I would need travel bags. I also use a WOC when I travel, but not the chanel. 4. Coach woc 5. Coach convertible backpack (I love convertible backpacks and would need one in my collection)
