Super caló's gimmick is based off a Mexican pop/hip hop group called Caló which was pretty popular in the 90's. The singer Claudio Yarto's trademark look being sunglasses and the Triple H hat. So when super caló debuted it was genius lmao a good luchador and fun to watch

It is funny, and I don't say this to rag on the boys, but it's funny that when they recapped this on the Chucky Nitro, they buried it for making Bret another Hogan henchman and for being stupid booking because Bret hated Hogan and how WCW dropped the ball on Bret... But then by the time this one came out, it's "If you were with Hogan and you were in the nWo, you were making good money" and "WCW gave him all these belts" Again, not ragging on the boys, I just find it funny.
