1: Orient yourself and head south immediately(JOG don't run). 2: Find warm clothes and a knife and gun. 3:Find a cluster of haybales and camp nearby for 10-30 minutes(By this time mushrooms start growing. You must be patient. Keep checking the haybales till mushrooms start spawning once they start spawning mushrooms eat all the raw ones, keep the dry ones, collect and discard the rotten ones. Within the hour you will have full stats and a supply of non-perishable dried mushrooms for your journey with with both help with hunger and hydration). 4:You have survived and got your levels all full do what ever you want have fun. SOoooo many people playing livonia dying from either starvation or just always sick all the time. The game provides the essentials if you are patient enough. If you have been looting a small area for awhile before you leave check around for haybales. I have seen streams starving looting a town for food for 20 minutes and not find anything to eat only for them to sprint off toward the next town without going back and checking the damn haybales 20 feet away from them. It frustrates me lol

My first day on 1.25 was magical compared to previous times playing on Livonia. Although, yesterday I starved to death three times back to back. Now, watching this video, I know that Livonia leans more towards survival. Which is important information, and explains why I struggled so much yesterday trying to survive. Also, playing 1.25 was the first time I came across the new buildings I heard about a while ago. Plus, I am running into other players a lot sooner than ever before. I'll be jumping in Livonia after watching this video to apply the new tips you shared here. EDIT: I also noticed I've been coming across more fishing rod than ever before. I hope that doesn't change. I would love to be able to fish more to survive. Many thanks.

i personally prefer livonia over cherno its a great map not extremely hard to get great loot but still challenging and more player interaction

It's only just recently that it dawned on me "Ya know, I'm always carrying a gun and bullets, I usually put a ton of food on me, but I hear a lot of wildlife, why not just go around with a cook stove setup and kill for all the food I ever need"

Simply more player interaction on liv..makes being a freshy more fun in general and is less frustrating for a beginner than chernarus

I really like the idea of Livonia, more focused on wilderness, wildlife etc. My issue is that it's just too small to really execute that idea if that makes sense? I've been playing close to a decade now and still haven't encountered a bear for some reason on Livonia or Chenarus

I've never encountered a friendly player in Livonia. Never. There's 0 reason to wonder what someones intentions are. They want to kill you 100% of the time. Friendly players are rare but do exist in Chenarus. They do not in Livonia. I seen a player getting overrun by zombies. I run up and save him. He immediately killed me. 😂

Livonia not having a coastline (landlocked country), smaller map size, and having Polish language instead of cyrillic script at least made things more simple😊

No fruit trees, but PROLIFIC mushroom farms.. find any farm with haybales Also, lot's of Bears in the south.. You talked about rags being essential. You talked about hunting animals. You talked about fires to stay warm. You don't mention the VERY BEST way to stay warm and dry.. Torches ❤‍🔥

my experience has gone as followed - spawned into livonia on official servers, immediately start hearing fully automatic rifle shots from a literal mile away, fall over dead. RESPAWN, immediately die again. gotta love the cheaters ruining it all.

Unplayable on console unfortunately. Amount of bugs higher than on Cherno. Did not played before the update. My connection is fine.

Honestly my first impression of Livonia is how mediocre it is. Seems like there's less military locations and more openfields. The higher saturation also gives it a weird happy feeling.

Honestly Livonia sucks. Seems like it's more weapons, fewer "side" routes and a ton of re-used buildings really turns it off lol
