Pfft yup but that’s because most KZfaqrs just wanna sell watches xD As for explorer and datejust hell yeah, 1601 is an amazing first Rolex and super cheap too, then the 5 digits are even better and only marginally more expensive, they have an aura of class the modern just don’t for me

Yup! Never said it was first to the summit or anything, I just said it was designed for the climb of Mount Everest! But absolutely correct, also as a British lad I actually own a couple smiths, mainly a smiths empire and a 9ct smiths de-luxe with some lovely patina! Gorgeous dress piece

Exactly, I'm completely with you. I also own the deepsea cameron. I already had several watches with me, including some other Rolex models. This watch is simply amazing. The technology behind it is unique. And it feels extremely robust, high quality and high quality. The Submariner or the Daytona next to it feel like cheap Chinese watches. This guy here, like everyone else, projects himself onto others. Like a small child: "The clock is much too big for me, so it's too big for EVERYONE. I find the clock unnecessary, so EVERYONE finds it unnecessary. I can't do anything with it, so EVERYONE probably can't do anything with it." Ridiculous! Get the deepsea without any worries. Especially the cameron blue edition. It is simply the hottest, most masculine and simply the best Rolex that has ever been built!

Well as it’s Rolex the finishing and reliability are top notch - so all the watches are very good. The worst Rolex is still a Rolex, as for the first part I have owned a few not for a long period (I grey market deal with friends) and for those I haven’t owned I have either personally handled friends stock, or asked owners personally! I’m sure if I wore one of them more often it would move up, but for now that’s not the case

Of course! To each their own it’s a gorgeous watch, end of the day all these watches are made incredibly, even the worst Rolex is a damn good watch, and the datejust is one of the best! I generally prefer fluted jubilee because I’m always in formal wear, i don’t have a job I just like to be dressed up, one could say it’s my style I suppose xD

That works! Maybe if I move to the East Coast or Europe. I love dressing up too, but I live in a small town now on the Olympic Peninsula and don't anymore, and even nearby Seattle is known for its lax style 🤣@@WatchConnoisseurClub

Well modern Rolex as said isn’t my thing I like vintage, but I understand! I find sporty stuff not quite me I’m more of a dressy person because I generally dress quite formally As for the diving part let’s be honest everyone looking for 200-300m of water resistance doesn’t actually need any more than 100m most of the time xD

@WatchConnoisseurClub Fair enough I understand 👍.. yeh my lifestyle is more sporty or street wear clothes dont tend to wear formal clothes 🤣 For diving I just wear a Gshock or nothing at all plus as what you said never mind 100 meters 10 to 20 meter dive/swim is enough 🤣🤣🤣

Plenty of divers use wrist watches. Some even use solid gold Rolex Submariners.

If you like it that’s all that matters! I don’t like titanium watches because they feel cheap on my wrist just due to how light they are - I like to feel my watch. But even so it’s still a modern Rolex so it’s finishing and reliability are incredible, every Rolex (other then the 1908) is an incredible watch, this is just my opinion of where I’d rank them
