What's one mechanic you would buff/ nerf in Street Fighter 6?

Nerf Dr and add a dash back and dash up attack cancel for di. Add more 4 more active frames for perfect parry to make it slightly easier, and finally make Dr have a backward motion instead of foward only. Then I'd laugh at how more mix ups come in to play for mindgames after those mechanics lol.

I'd rather not buff or nerf anything. I'm pretty content with the state that the game is in now. Maybe individual character buffs or nerfs, but nothing major.

1) Speed up drive reversal 2) Adjust speed and distance of drive rush for some characters

I think perfect parry needs a nerf. Not damage scaling wise, that is already fine but it's fairly easy to mash parry and get one and that can put the opponent in the corner fairly easy which in this game corner = death and that is more valuable than a high damage combo if it doesn't kill. I really don't know how to nerf PP. Maybe make it one frame instead of two? So it can be more intentional and less of a fishing expedition? Idk.

Nerf parry and perfect parey in general Nerf drive rush. Make it punish counter on hit Add 2 more frames of start up to drive impact( I wish they would remove it All together) Buff drive reversal and make it safe

Thanks mate this is really helpful. For supposedly one of the beginner-friendly characters Ryu has surprisingly complex Oki.

In the corner, after hashogeki juggle into light DP, frame kill with st. medium kick, then St medium punch. +2 on Block.

@@DarkSynthI just went to the lab and found another for this same scenario (after juggle light dp +37) cr light punch frame kill and Solar Plexus Strike afterwards. You will be +3 on block.

Off Punish Counter Cr.HK (neutral whiff punish) you can backdash, drive rush St.HP. It will hit on the very last frame. It you get a counter hit you will have enough frame advantage to link a St.HK after it and do a devastating combo.

I'll have to study and practice this carefully. Wonderful video, thank you! I'm at 1700 MR with my Honda, but now I've decided to make a tour around the other characters and the first I'm trying to learn is Ryu (from scratch, never really played him lol). Did the placement matches and ended at Diamond 3, but the climb is not easy without knowing the proper combo/setup routes!

He got even better oki now that L Hasho is safe! And H Hasho leaves him point blank for a strike/ throw mixup

Off of light tatsu IMO it's better to just dash up then manually time walk up because you have the option of meaty throw, button or shimmy. Being +1 off hashogaki at that range really doesn't do much.

It's when you knockdown your opponent off certain moves and follow them on their knockdown to continue your pressure. Best way I can explain it

@@DarkSynth Ok i think i get it but when you mean when you knock them down with certain moves, after that you get to act first and pressure with any move or attack with certain moves again to get that pressure?

@@marvikv2505 Yeah! So an example would knocking the opponent down with a LK tatsu. Then doing a dash into LP Hasho which leaves Ryu +1. Or dashing in for a throw.
