No way people get annoyed when LEGO is cartoony 💀

I feel like this is just silly enough for lego. Like a character in a lego game would try to take a sample and just end up picking up the whole piece.

The most iconic though - red clay in a janky 2013 stop motion animation.

That's why I don't mind off-brand lego. I'm not chopping up and drilling holes in actual legos but catch me modding tf out of a random dollar store brand version

I feel like this is an even more cartoonish alternative

Lego already has a "splatter" tile, 2x2 round splat. But I’m not sure if it comes in translucent red though

playdoh works incredibly well for gore effects.

I just use red clay or red dry-erase marker for my builds

You can also just use red DOTS. Gonna miss that LEGO line…

Here is a simple trick. Have bricks, tiles, and more be red amongst the other bricks. If you have a tile floor or use a method of bricks on their side for different effects you can build a blood stained floor by swapping out different colors. You can use red snakes for guts and the piece that goes on top of a knights helmet for further blood effects.

I remember my dad and I tried to make a medieval battle scene and we used clear red silicone and poured it to make it look like blood, it worked REALLY well and cleaning up areas where we didn’t want it was super easy. Definitely cheaper than getting a bunch of these, but for a small scene, these look amazing.

Saw a few questions about it in the various posts, it is very easy to remove from plates, and i've never broken one, or heard of one being broken, not to say it can't happen. We do have it available in various colors, with more coming soon! We are running a little low on trans red at the moment so if your wanting some I'd recommend to pick it up soon!

Oh not that I advocate adding gore! But-I love how that gooey liquid shape works perfectly to flow around the round studs!

you could use a red putty to mimic blood which in my opinion is way better since it doesn't make the lego dirty and it can stick to the legos

i like the classic use of red clay to animate in stop motion videos of lego, it keeps that sense of nostalgia while not trying to make everything a realistic scaled down version into lego as the roots of its classic or basic color schematics and design are what holds true though all these years

washable red crayola markers on mini figs is what I did when I was younger! Does the trick wonderfully and wipes clean off when you’re done

Bro I remember when I was younger I wanted my avenger legos to be bloody like the movies, so when I cut my arm really bad after falling on bricks instead of wrapping my arm up, I when upstairs and filled a small cup with blood and used it as prop blood💀

I'm fine just sticking with red studs and tiles for mine since the angles of which the injured (or dead) minifigure is in normally covers up that it uses very little and not correctly shaped pieces. I build a lot of war themed builds so a piece like this would be useful in some cases, but I think it fills up too much space considering that on my builds the wounds are most of the time meant to be recent and haven't had a while to bleed out.

Red studs are the classic. You can get better, but it’s not bad.

You could also use play dough or moulding clay

All of these methods are valid but I'm glad there's a piece.

Back in my day, we used plasticine to make blood or to get lego men stuck on the floor. It looked weird but it did the job. Also for mout movements or hilding am arm in an angle that you normally cant

Alternate ideas include using red PlayDoh or smth similar in consistency. Doesnt wreck your pieces.

People trying to put blood on Lego are the same kind of people who dip ice cream in Ranch

use a piece or res construction paper and if you cut out the stud holes it'll lay flat enough that you can place objects on top and make it look like the blood is flowing around furniture and other pieces of scenery

I love that piece, i got a couple of them at a convention and they have multiple colors for them, i use the red and yellow/green all the time for blood and biohazard spills

I use blue LEGO studs for water, green LEGO studs for slime, even red LEGO studs for blood. I know it’s way too cartoonish, but it’s what I can do.

I recommend red marker. You can wash it off and the markers I use make make Lego figs look super gory! AND THERE LITERALLY NORMAL MARKERS
