There are 3 species of the beautiful oryx that live on the dry plains of Africa and the Mideast. They’re powerfully built and deep-chested with short necks, blunt muzzles, and long limbs. Oryxes have adapted to survive in some of the world's harshest environments and thrive in arid deserts where water and vegetation are scarce.
