Guys this might be a system seller launch title! On Gamestop they have bundles with the PS4 and every individual exclusive launch title like Killzone Shadow Fall and DriveClub. They also have a bundle of the PS4 with the Order 1886!

The gun they are using is a Borchardt C-93

The Borchardt C-93 pistol was also in 'Red Dead Redemption' too but calling it 'Semi-Automatic Pistol' lol

Actually he's right, the pistol is not based off the Luger, it's based of the Borchardt C-93 which intern inspired the Luger

It's Steampunk. Bioshock is sort of set in a historical themed time but is very weird and futuristic at the same time... and that is a FUCKING AWESOME game.

Oh yeah, it definitely could have survived without them. My point was that they were great additions. They didn't change the face of gaming, but they were all quality games based upon tried and tested formulas/themes.

I hope they have asymmetrical multiplayer where you play as the werewolf, or just let play the werewolf altogether instead of people with guns. It would be a achievement to how good Santa-Monica and Ready at Dawn are at making hack-and-slash games.

It's called "dystopian". Basically its a alternative history where a huge event happens or a existing huge event is taken out. The story probably just has a huge event that happened that didn't exist.

yeah i can get that and i know it works well with many games but as for this one im not sure atm. I also doubt it will be one of ps4's aaa titles

looks like an fps with survival horror elements set in a dishonored-like universe. could be cool.

Well they said, that the weapons they are using are made from technology that actually exist in the time. The electric gun would use a tessler coil, even though that was invented a few years after, but apart from that it is kind of believable, if you are at war then you will have more advancement in weaponry.

Not really. The grenade launcher was made around the 50s and 60s. That pistol is a Luger which was made around the 40s. and that shotgun doesn't exist from what I know off.

really dont know what to think of this game, it looks set in victorian times or so yet they have like weird futuristic guns, dont think its gonna pull it off but we'll have to wait and see.

I kind of wished this was a hack and slash like Santa Monica usually does. If this is going to be a shooter, please be a TPS that will shit on every other TPS shooter. (The Last of Us and Uncharted not included though)

Those we great games! But there's it's also nice to finally have a steampunk that doesn't have cartoonish graphical style.

An alternate history where technology doesn't make sense? Taking impractical horse drawn carriages into dangerous places, but with advanced handheld electrical cannons? You can't even really defend these things, you just have to embrace them. Other games have done this before ie Bioshock, so I think it's the execution we're talking about. Here it seems forced, like the weapons don't originate from the same world. Maybe it's explained though. Regardless, doesn't mean the game won't be good.

Why do some developing studios only choose to show trailers? That is useless to me. If I want to see a cinematic scene, I would just watch a film. At the very least show gameplay mixed in with the cut scenes.
