So I started using it too, would you please give me advice as to how to incorporate alpha arbutin in my routine as well? 😍 Because right now I'm using retinol 0.2 on Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays and mandelic acid on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have noticed a lot of help with hyperpigmentation after acne! It’s hard to tell if the difference is real, but I just don’t see any dramatic spots. I didn’t know it could be used around the mouth…I would caution against using any product around the eyes that isn’t specifically indicated for them. Especially on the lid itself. Just my personal opinion I think a little pigment on the lid is pretty! But maybe after further research I’ll start to use it in my under eye Edit: Looks like the directions for alpha arbutin + ascorbic acid say to avoid the eye, while alpha arbutin + HA does not say anything about the eye. I would still not put either on my eyelid, but when I’m done with the first formula I’m going to get the one with HA so I can use it on my eye contour
