At 7:27 you can offer a wheat for a wood to port for the city. Think you must have forgotten you had 3 for 1 port.

I sometimes watch videos on x1.25 speed and with your videos, I regularly find myself checking the speed of the video and surprisingly see it at 1x. I'm impressed by the way you can speak so fast but yet so clearly and without filler words. I don't think many people are capable of doing this and you just do it naturally, that's amazing. For me, this is the perfect pace to listen to and stay engaged (it's only when I'm multitasking that I think about wanting to slow it down).

17:45 Monopoly on wood here would've been a good play. After porting your sheep and buying a dev, you can see there's a lot of wood out there, black is about to go next with the wood port. Using the mono aggressively here may make you the #1 target, but you'll have enough knights to defend yourself while you close out the game

My experience is that ore wheat sheep is best when the tiles are high probability and you are near a port for one of those materials. Focusing too much on wood brick or any other combo makes me lose pretty often.

19:35 is mono on the brick with 3:1 sheep to build settle and build out to the 9-12 not good? Those two settles would get you to 9 points.

The thing is, gettin extorted is often super nice for you, its no wonder that many players extort themselfes, bcs they get reasonable/neutral trades out of it, and thats not working anymore in a meta where everyone lies. So you gotta find a middle ground.

It's really important to see how oranges lies didn't matter here. he was so far behind it just doesn't matter if he lies or not. But it makes his name not future proof, if he gets matched against the same players he will get recognized as the lier and will get blocked further and won't be able to negotiate nb when he is actually in winning positions. The first one was pretty good because the outcome was still in the stars. But the second one was just destroying his reputation. When there was no need to. Its like Poker, you wanna bluff in spots where it doesn't hurt you when your bluff gets called because either you are able to still steal the pot with the draws or in future hands you actually have the nuts and calling you is the wrong move.

You made your voice deeper, but you're still editing out spacing between words. Watched the game timer and the youtube timer together to verify. I don't know if you've gotten complaints about your voice, but not cramming all your words together in post would be more effective than pitch shifting your voice, which I'm pretty confident you did since your typing noises are deeper compared to previous videos.

I say this as a personal preference thing but, when you have to adapt the commentary to the pace of the colonist rolls there's a lot of info at once that I can't really take in. Maybe if you record the game and afterwards do a more succinct analysis that doesn't need to be real-time.

at 5:30 how the fuck do they trade you a brick for a single sheep? on my table you had to trade at least 3 resources minimum, that was such a dumb trade by whoever did it, i think it was orange.
