What an incredible story. I'll admit, I didn't find the Molecule Man all that interesting when I first heard about. But now I find, not only may he be the most powerful man in the Marvel Universe, but I also find that he's one of the most sympathetic super villains in the Marvel Universe who went through some very interesting character growth. And that not taking into account the fact that it was ultimately he who saves the entire multi-verse from annihilation in the end.

Honestly it would be hard to introduce him and implement him into the story. I think the MCU is setting Loki up to be the MCU Molecule Man. I think it will be he, Strange and Doom in Dr Strange 3 trying to figure out how to take down the Beyonders.

It never ceases to amaze me how the web of connectivity stretches throughout Marvel Comics. We started with the origin of the Molecule Man and ended up with that plus the history of the Beyonder, the Beyonders, and even the entire modern Marvel multiverse. Since you mentioned them in this video, how about a video on the history of the various Cosmic Cubes? (And even the Cosmic Containment Units that Starlin tried to make a thing in Infinity Crusade.) As always MAKE MINE THE MERRY MARVELITE!!!!

His story is ready-made for the MCU. His wife and Titania can appear in She-Hulk, the Fantastic Four and him have a classic story in the comics. His quirky nature can be explored and he is intertwined in Dr. Dooms story and in the Secret Wars saga. He could eventually have his own series or movie. Would love to see it Marvel.

I think Loki will become the MCU Molecule Man. I'm usually not a big fan of amalgamation characters but Loki is the perfect person to fill that role IF they aren't giving him a proper character and origin story. Imagine him, Strange & Doom teaming up to find out how to defeat the Beyonders. I think that this would be a great way to keep Loki's character and role in the MCU growing.

I remember one thing about secret wars if you noticed it whenever someone in that story desired something strong enough that they would get it for instants whenever someone’s base got destroyed, they would retreat and always find a new one. Some of the heroes needed new suits and lo and behold they walk in another room and there is a machine that makes suits Dr. doom desired galactus powers and all of a sudden boom. He found a way to absorb them Dr. doom wanted the beyonders powers and you know he found a way to absorb them. everything that someone wanted They got it in that story. It was funny. Magneto desired to sleep with the wasp and he did. It’s just weird everything that someone wanted if they desired it strong enough they got it.

This story was a great backround and a full archive about one of Marvel's most dangerous characters anyone would suffer the misfortune of having to go one on one against! That is just nuts how they could try stitching these stories together after years of crazy theories. They can really go nuts trying to top themselves year after year. I almost wish they could go back to the old days of street crime fighting. Seems that can't keep from mucking things up with time travel, multiverses, cross time capers. Makes preventing a bank robbery seem like small potatoes. And with the general population seeing all the craziness of Asgardian wars spanning the globe and such, it is surprising the common man just doesn't give up living in the Marvel universe ... or try to be come a cosmic entitity so they don't have to put with the shennanigans.

Great analysis, though there are two crucial points you missed. Firstly, the Beyonder showcased his immense power by destroying all the stars in the galaxy when they were on battle world. Secondly, after Doctor Doom unlocked Molecule Man's mind, he astonishingly restored the stars that the Beyonder had annihilated. Just imagine the ability to bring back an entire galaxy's worth of stars that is the power of Molecule man before they retconned him. P.S. Additionally, there's a notable instance where the Enchantress captured Volcana, attempting to use her life force to facilitate her journey home to Asgard. Almost successful in her endeavour, she witnessed Molecule Man flying towards her and promptly fled. This underscores the extraordinary power of Molecule Man, where even a goddess retreats in the face of his might, and you know that the Enchantress hates mortals she thinks they are beneath her less than worms.

This story is probably the greatest story that was told in comic book history, and also introduced some key characters in marvel comics but the sad thing is marvel itself, had such a beef with big gym shooter, the greatest editor in chief in marvel history, and he’s the one that created the story and a lot of the characters that was in it That they decided to go in after he was terminated from his position did his side to go in and read con a lot of the characters in the story for the worst like they Retcon the molecule man, and made him extremely weak. They recon to be yonder they read con Dsivii, its history, but I would say that the Soviet history was the only good Retcon that they did cause I think that was a pretty good recon‘s, but the story introduced us to the beyonder spider woman, volcano, titania I believe the molecule man, but I could be wrong about that the alien symbiote Spider-Man’s black suit, which is probably his most famous suit that he has ever Wore. Also, this story introduced us to at that time, the most powerful character in marvel history, because the one above all had not been established yet he was created, but he wasn’t established. No one in comic book history has the feats that the beyonder has to me, the stuff he’s done no one has ever been able to match his body of feats And characters that he has defeated with no problem the celestials the whole celestial race he went to their realm and beat the hell out of them and left for fun. He killed death just cause he could. He literally made it where the most powerful cosmic entities had to come together And ask molecule man to stop the beyonder. these entities I am speaking of is eternity, infinity, sire, hate mistress death they all got together to ask the molecule man to stop the beyonder because they couldn’t, and even the living tribunal was at this meeting, because there was nothing that he could do to stop the beyonders reign Like I said, no one in comic book history has the feats that the beyonder has I would really like for you to do the origin and story about the Beyonder I mean the pre-retcon beyonder not that the crap that marvel spit out just to try to downplay big Jim shooters contributions. I get serious whenever I hear certain characters names brought up, and the beYonder is one of my favorite characters ever invented.
@DIEGhostfish
@DIEGhostfish Жыл бұрын
I actualy liked the retcons reducing Beyonder and Molecule man to "Merely" cosmic cube tier powers. Hickman bringing back their powers was in my opinion a mistake. I like a ton of Shooter's era, but making two beings *That* unstable more powerful than the Tribunal, who was in all other sources second only to the Capital-G God/One Above All made the whole multiverse seem too small and precarious.
@presenceaboveall7882
@presenceaboveall7882 Жыл бұрын
@@DIEGhostfish what they should’ve done was what Jim shooter intended Yes the beyonder was that powerful and he was supposed to end in that story which was secret wars 2 where they got rid of him, and he was never supposed to return, but as I said, in my first message they had such a Beef with Jim shooter that they wanted to destroy everything that he ever created so they decided to bring the beyonders back and make him weak. They change the symbiot. One of the stupidest things marvel did to go against Jim shooter, which made no sense was creating the Beyonder’s race and making it where the Beyonder was considered a child unit. Now you tell me how that makes any sense when the beyonders was destroyed by Dr. doom and molecule man, but the original beyonder wipe the floor with everybody, including the cosmic beings, Rachel Summers phoenix, the molecule man the celestial’s killed death, then brought her back to life, but it’s supposed to be a child unit. The second dumbest thing they did was because they didn’t know what to do. They said that the Beyonder was a mutant/ inhuman hybrid, kneeling and calling black bolt his king. All of that stuff was personal shots at jim shooter after he was fired.
@DIEGhostfish
@DIEGhostfish Жыл бұрын
@@presenceaboveall7882 Were the other examples of "The BeyonderS" who tormented the High Evolutionary not before Secret Wars? I mean Shooter likely didn't intend for them to actually be the same race back then, but they were so similarly named it was pretty much inevitable someone would get them confused otherwise. I feel like nobody would really believe a Secret Wars 2 level Beyonder could ever really die, so nerfing him seemed a more viable way of ensuring the Multiverse wouldn't suddenly get huge swathes wiped out. As for the Child bit, I mean he *DID* seem pretty childish, trying to learn to understand desire in Secret Wars 1, then love and regret and all these other concepts in Secret Wars 2. The Mutant/Inhuman thing sure seems dumb though.

There's even a story that comes right before Secret Wars that would perfectly set up Secret Wars. I can see Dr Strange, Dr Doom & Loki working together to figure out how to take down the Beyonders causing the incursions. I really would love if Dr Strange 3 incorporates Time Runs Out & Triumph & Torment, basically a Strange/Doom team up movie that sees them teaming up with the Molecule Man (Loki) by the end of the movie, leading to Secret Wars.

Makes KtC look even less imposing if MOLECULE MAN is introduced. It’d be a perfect way to introduce the character in; THE MARVELS though. Having those three MARVELS combine to defeat him illustrate how dangerous the character truly is. Unlike KtC aka “beyonder” (clearly what happened to the character he was not defeated after all). It’s a fun parallel between characters bc they are all dealing with identity disorders in one form or another. It’s believable to have the character not killed either; bc compassion is evident in each of the MARVELS characters. They can relate to MOLECULE MANs feelings in a way that’s more organic to the character and can highlight his raw power more; showcasing these are the MOST powerful characters in the MCU roster now. Only a Marvel can hope to stop the insidious MOLECULE MAN. Giving each a fitting nemesis.

Ah, Molecule Man repeatedly pulled the Sentry/Void apart and he simply reformed and eventually beat MM’s ass. The Void > Molecule Man

from the name title leaks of future mcu movies. I Really think Molecule man will be the main villain of the fantastic four movie leading to. Kang dynasty part 1 of the multiverse war where the council of kangs are defeated. Secret wars part 2 of the war with the beyonder and doom celestials end of time will be the final secret wars and the end of the multiverse saga.

What do you think is the best thing about the Molecule Man in the Comics compared to the other Big time Villains in Marvel Comics? Which one of his powers and abilities do you think is the best? What would happen if we had the powers of the Molecule Man in real life?

What type of person was Owen Reece before and after he became the Molecule Man? Is he as better as or more powerful than Thanos, Kang the Conqueror, Annihilus and Galactus? What would happen if he was more powerful than the Beyonder?
