So.. when Manu dibango find out that he had been sample, he engaged pursuit against micheal but they find an deal included money to calm down everybody and it works. Years later, Rihanna sample again the mama se mama sa Makoosa in "Don't stop the music" and the same year michael made a remix with akon of "wanna be starting something". Seeing that, Manu dibango decided to attack Rihanna AND michael ( two time against micheal ) but Manu dibango loose this time because in the past he already refuse to go forward in the trial ( he give up one time ) so the law considered that there was no more credibility in his accusation.

"Soul Makossa" by Manu Dibango was a worldwide hit, popular even in Haïti as a so called 3rd world country. Michael was music savvy and probably heard it too while ignoring about how famous the song was, because he was evolving in an American environment where people are so full of themselves in a US/UK cocoon only they just naturally stay unaware of other people's achievements. So baffling. Manu Dibango was saddened by their irreverencious approach of his mega hit by Michael's side...

I think in the USA us black folk use words that we have forgotten and say them without even knowing what it means. I started calling my daughter Mmadu met a guy from Egypt he told me it was a African name

@@problemchild170 "African vocabulary" in this context is used as a catch all. Of course there are numerous languages, countries, cultures, spiritual beliefs, etc., in Africa. The term simply means it came from the African continent.
