Great video Thanks for the free templets!!! I am in the process of ordering mine,..spoiling myself (cause I'm worth it ,...WE ALL ARE) Going all in and getting the dream cart as well!! I have had my craft room for probably 6 years now and trying to find organizing furniture and bins and set up and ugh!!! When I saw this dream box it just solved all my problems!!! Yes it is an investment but I agree we will own this for our lifetime!! and honestly, it would probably cost the same if you were to add up all the money and time just trying to figure out your craft storage system. To me this is a one and done!! less time rearranging my craft room, less money spent on the wrong bins and furniture and my goodness this dream box is sooooo beautiful!!! Function and beauty,.. that's my jam!! Talk about inspiring! Words of encouragement to anyone thinking its out of their reach,... it will happen if you want it to happen it may take some time but anything worth it does, never say never work hard and dream hard and you can have this in your space one day. I am 50 years old was a single mom no high school diploma, waitress, hairdresser, small business owner. You can do it!! and you are worth it. If you can't do it yet it just means your crafting journey isn't over yet. Happy crafting everyone. And big thanks to all the You Tubers for all your hard work, dedication, love and inspiration!!

I agree that the price is steep but I finally bit the bullet and ordered mine. I'm not lucky enough to have a room where I can stash all of my supplies so they are spread out all over the house. Because of this, I find myself duplicating supplies. Also, because my supplies are all spread out, I spend more time gathering everything I need than I do actually crafting. Thanks for the walk through Tracy; it answered a few questions I had and gave me some ideas. I can't wait for mine to arrive so I can finally get organized and start on some projects that I have been wanting to do!

Joanna Credeur so excited for you!!! You are going to love it! I can totally relate to buying things you already have. One more bit of advice that I meant to mention in the video- I recommend using needle nose pliers to place the little clear plastic shelf pegs. There are tons of them and are a little difficult to put in. Your fingers will get a little sore after you do a few. The pliers made it way easier once I figured that out. Best of luck and thank you so much for watching!!

I have one of the echo dots for 29.99 and one of the remotes that you can speak to. I just tell it "alexa" when I walk in the room if I want it on to turn on the Crown light. Then I also use Alexa (the echo dot) to play books, music, answer measuring info 😁

Kalan, I really enjoyed this video! I have been saving up for this item, hoping that it would be a good decision and worthwhile purchase. As you mentioned, it's a hefty purchase to make, so something to consider, but seems so worth it if you are a serious crafter. Crafting is my therapy, so I guess it would be worth it! You covered topics and concerns that I have been wondering about, so I appreciate you taking the time to create this informative video! In looking over the various comments submitted here, I can see that you are very good about answering questions and providing feedback!

Thanks you for the kind words and watching! It is definitely an investment piece but I have no doubt I will have for a lifetime. I do think it is very good quality and now it even has several add ons since I purchased it. I was looking at it for about 4 years before I bit the bullet. I am excited to say I did pay mine off in 6 months. I have no regrets at all. Best of luck if you do it. And hopefully you saw in the comments my little tip about using needle nose pliers to put in the little plastic shelf pegs. Happy Krafting!

I had the same issue with the doors not closing but bought 2 additional magnet catches at Lowe's. I keep mine in my breakfast nook area and only open when I am working. It is very deep but you could not have so much space if it didn't open twice. I love mine!
@KalansKrafting

They have a child safety latch for the top. That will keep it fully closed but since you have a crown I don't think you can use it. Maybe you can purchase and apply it to the bottom.

Hi! And thank you for doing this video! I didn't see an option to get a magnet board. I'd like One for My Dies. So many and I like to see what I have so I don't buy 2 of the same thing! LOL!! I'm getting mine delivered Tuesday and I know it's going to be a challenge to put together. If it's too late for the magnet board, I'll have to figure something else out. But thanks for sharing the details of the ups and downs but overall I think it's going to be great!! Happy Crafting!!
@KalansKrafting
@KalansKrafting 4 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for watching. You can absolutely still buy the magnetic boards. It’s just an accessory and you can add that on at any time. But just remember to only buy one set to start and then see if you need more after the fact. One set contains two pieces for the top and the bottom. I am sure you’re going to love it. Good luck!!

This is super informative. All of the reviews I have found so far have been sponsered, so it's hard to get a real feel for the product. If you ever did decide you wanted to keep it closed, inserting small neodynium magnets on each side of the doors right in the front where they meet would be pretty easy, and it should keep them closed.
@KalansKrafting
@KalansKrafting 4 жыл бұрын
I agree that would work pretty easy but I do leave it open all the time. However if I ever moved and had to keep in a smaller area I would definitely do that. It's probably because my floor is not level. Thanks so much for watching!

Great review, thank you! Is there some sort of brace for the top? That's the only thing I can't seem to find in a review. I do love some of the additional notes you gave that isn't in some of the other reviews (like the doors not closing, etc).
@KalansKrafting
@KalansKrafting 4 жыл бұрын
Cheryll Aldridge there absolutely is a safety brace that came with it but I did not use it since I did not think it was necessary. I leave it open all the time with the table set up so there is enough support that I feel it can't tip forward. The doors not closing could be because my floor is not level but I am just not sure. Thank you so very much for watching my video and if you get one I really do think you won't be disappointed.
@ConstitutionGal51
@ConstitutionGal51 4 жыл бұрын
Typically speaking, the problem with the doors not staying closed has more to do with an unlevel floor. You'd be hard pressed to find a house that has perfectly level floors, and even straight walls throughout. You could shim under the caster on that one side, the one on the FRONT ONLY (when closed). Trial and error, just shim a little bit at a time until it does stay closed, which will be a pain to remove everything on that side, lay it down to shim, reattach, and do again if needed, but it would be the answer to that which would drive me up the wall too! Otherwise, try a different location for if, if possible.
@KalansKrafting
@KalansKrafting 4 жыл бұрын
Yes I mentioned in another comment that I suspected it had to do with the floor not being level. Since I do not close mine I am not really concerned but if I ever move it somewhere and have the same issue I would definitely try to address it. I would actually just add a magnet and that would be a fairly simple way to fix it. Thanks so much for the tip and thanks for watching!!

I had this idea for my own storage, but my concept was bigger boxes. but any way. I was thinking if you get to much weight on the side doors and too much weight all around will this cabinet be able to hold what an average crafter stores. I see a sewing machine . I have all multiple heavy items to store. Is this press wood or something solid. Or just a one year if not 2 year item?
@KalansKrafting
@KalansKrafting 2 жыл бұрын
Oh this cabinet is VERY well made. Mine is loaded to the hilt now and I have no issues at all. it will last my lifetime for sure. it is a manufactured material and not solid wood, but it is very high quality. I do leave mine open all the time but close to move around to clean underneath and it is a very solid piece of furniture.

Hi Ann Marie! It took about 3 weeks for mine. I would recommend calling them to see what estimated delivery would be from the time that you order.
