I'm obsessed! I'm half Korean and lived in Korea in 2000 to teach English. I was assigned to Daegu. There was a restaurant I always wanted to go to where they specialized in ddukbokki. You could pick items a la carte that you wanted in your dish. And at the end... the fried rice! I miss it there and most likely won't be able to go back. Thanks for showing this to us. Brought back memories for me too. 💗

I didn't know this style of tteobokki existed! I love Budae-Jjigae, so this is right up my alley! thanks for making the video! I was just in South Korea, but couldn't eat Tteobokki more than once b/c I was trying to eat all the other yummy foods that they have! Keep these videos coming!

I befriended a street food lady who made tteokbokki while I was in Korea. Every time I went to Myeong-dong I felt obligated to go and talk to her (and eat lots of tteokbokki). this video made me miss Korea so much (but i'm going back next summer so it's fine)
