We've all seen the Steve Nash commercial where he's visited by a kid from the future who tells him about his exploits in the NBA.
This is the original video footage. The commercial we see on TV replaces the coach with the kid.

Fair enough. I do agree with your sentiments; it's just that some of the kids and they way they were presented seemed creepy to me. You're right, though, about the message regarding their work ethic.
