Excellent show.Having been a fan for decades it was a refreshing change to see the family talk about their faith without hearing the cynics. They are truly a remarkably humble family. When you meet them you are greeted as an old friend with a warm hug. While I have not joined the LDS church their influence has brought me closer to the Gospel.I honestly believe that this is their true mission from God.Thank you for airing the show.

This is just what I needed today. I found the Church because of the Osmonds in 1974. The missionaries would not have found me, so I had to find them. I was baptized in 1977 because I had to wait for my 18th birthday. The Osmonds will always have a special place in my heart for planting that seed then and still being an influence for good in my life today. I cannot imagine my life without the gospel in it. Thank you just isn't enough.

I have been an Osmond fan since 1975 and seeing this program just left me speechless. The Osmond Family has meant so much to me over the years and so it's great to finally see a documentary about them where they can truly express their religious beliefs. Even though I am Catholic and do not share the Osmonds' LDS beliefs, I have great respect for the family in how they have lived out their faith amidst the crazy world of show business. Without their faith, they might have ended up like many of their contemporaries. God bless the Osmonds. And Rest In Peace, George and Olive Osmond.

Isn't it sad that because of their religion, people "thought" they were "this or that.," when what they were was fantastic musicians, performers and people. They should be in the rock and roll hall of fame. I've been watching reaction videos of these young kids discovering The Osmonds and they are blown away! I was an Osmond fan since the 60's, and I'm so thrilled they are still around, respected and cherished. I'll always be thankful to this family. Terrific job on this program. It was well done, respectful and very entertaining. God's continued blessings to The Osmond Family!

When I was a child (I’m Donny’s age), my parents worried about my love of this family. They were concerned about the “celebrity” factor and what we knew of other celebrities of that time. I’d give anything if they were alive now to see how the Osmond family (and me) turned out. If I, as a child, had to find a celebrity to admire - wow, didn’t I choose wisely!!! Talented, yes, but like Donny said, they earned (through dedication and hard work) every accolade they’ve ever received. Folks, this family is a perfect example of what a parent’s love and guidance can accomplish. Oh, that we were all so fortunate!!! Osmond family, you have my eternal gratitude for the examples you are and your parents were. Talk about priceless!!! I’ll look for you inside those pearly gates! Much love and respect!!!!

I have been an Osmond fan ever since The Osmonds album. When the missionaries found my door in 1981 first thing I noticed was the name of the Church, the same as the Osmonds. In 1991-2 I asked the ladies in the Church how many of them came to the Church because of the Osmonds? My research showed that around 50% of the girls in the Nordic were thinking that Osmonds had s role to play in it that they become members. I will be forever thankful for the Osmonds for showing me the right way to go! WaynePower aka Maya

I first heard about the LDS church through the Osmond family. I’ve been a faithful member in good standing for decades. If it were not for them introducing me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, honestly..I don’t know how I would have literally survived my challenging life. My faith and love for Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father has carried me through the years. In 2011 Donny, Debbie, and Josh, attended church at the Ossington Ward in Toronto. I asked Donny to inscribe my scriptures as I truly considered the Osmond’s to have been my first missionaries. …later that afternoon while attending the show, Donny picked me out of the audience (front row center) and did a little dance with me. Needless to say it was a day I’ll never forget -July 17. ❤️🙏🕊👼🏼🇨🇦

That’s amazing!!! If you watch the move Side by side the osmonds story ,the hole reason why they started singing was to raise money for their missions. When they got invited for a five year contract on the tv show and had to move to California , they said well this reason why we started to save money to go on missions and maybe people will see us on tv and then when we knock on doors open up to us to hear the gospel! That’s exactly what happened . Your living proof even though they didn’t contract you personally. The lord knew the path the the osmonds . This was their path here on earth . They fullfilled it very well . They continue to do so. The second generation of osmonds are fabulous too. I know a few of the boys :)

As I watch this, and after hearing Elder Rasband's talk at Conference day before yesterday, telling the story about the woman who was an Osmond fan and converted, I too want to thank the Osmonds. I was a *huge* fan of theirs, and slowly got introduced to the Gospel. It took four years for my parents to allow me to be baptized, but the wait was worth it. I now live in Utah, I was a temple ordinance worker in the Jordan River Temple, but I (like Alan) have multiple sclerosis, and am now unable to be an ordinance worker. So, besides being a temple patron, I am a FamilySearch Records missionary, and absolutely love being able to serve in my own small way. I am so grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and for the Osmonds, whose example helped bring me to the Church. They have indeed followed the admonition of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve by having their careers be their missions.

Of all the world’s accolades bestowed upon this humble family, this truly represents who they are. With everything happening in the world at this time, with the ugliness that has put the world’s attention on Utah and the Church, this program couldn’t have come at a better time. I will be forever grateful for learning about the Church because of this faithful family. As a young girl coming from a very Catholic family, I felt so alone because I simply didn’t believe what my family believed. I had questions that no one could answer and thought I was the only one who held the beliefs I did. And then as a young fan a family vacation took us to Utah and the Visitor’s Center. ThereI learned that not only was I not the only one who held certain beliefs, but there was an entire group of people who shared the same. I was baptized on my 18th birthday and never looked back. Thank you for helping me on the path to eternity.

@@carmenpascual2383 you are absolutely correct as far as separating someone’s talent from faith. But, I only learned about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a child. I looked into it as an adult. I had many questions that the Catholic Church could not answer and found when I investigated the LDS Church. I fasted and prayed for answers and was answered . I wish you the very best .

There are so many wonderful things about the church. The families are forever belief. Wholesome values. Willing to work and help others. Why I didn't join the church is because when you get to the higher levels they believe that a man can become a god. You can read about it if you have their scripture - the Doctrine and Covenants. Section 132. To me - that was a huge dealbreaker. Totally against the one true God.

I have been an Osmond fan since 1972. I have seen their highs and lows and through it all, they remained strong because of their faith. My spiritual path is different from most, but I have always respected all religions. I have always felt that everyone should believe in something, because it's that faith, whatever that faith may be, that helps you through your darkest times. I truly believe that. I can't think of another family that has proved that more than the Osmond family. They are a gift and I am very grateful for that gift. Brightest Blessings to all of you.

Having met many of them, having had one of them phone me to save my life. Having shared the love they have for our saviour Jesus Christ. They all planted the seed of faith in my heart in the 70’s. Having received a personal letter from mother Osmond. I then joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints with my own witness and testimony of him. They are all amazing wonderful people. Blessed with the spirit of God. From mother and father Osmond to Tom and Virl. To the talented Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Donny, Marie and Jimmy. Their music is the heart of my life. Being raised Mormon, the Osmond family touches me deeply. I have been a fan since I was a teenager; and I am the same age as Marie. I remember attending a Fireside at one of the stake buildings where I live in Las Vegas with all the Osmonds there bearing their testimonies. Merrill and Mary has just gotten married. Donny was 16, and of course I was madly in love with him (as most girls were at that time!). This was amazing thank you. To hear the Osmonds give their testimony was amazing. The Osmonds got me through everything. Are you Up Their/I Believe changed my life at age 13. I am amazed at the talent and grace of this family and how they keep going through it all. Mother and Father Osmond were like surrogate parents to my troubled childhood like many of us. They gave me my faith and this documentary gave it back. Thank you so much for this.

Seeing Wayne get so excited when he talked about the "Rock and Roll," priceless! That was the Osmonds at their best. I've seen hundreds of concerts over the past 40 plus years, of all styles, but I don't think I've seen anyone truly enjoy performing as much as Wayne!

Simply outstanding in both physical body and spiritual "muscle"!! 😀 I have watched "The Osmonds" on TV in Taiwan since I was a senior high school studnet in 1969, and I am still watching them even after I retired as a college professor in 2018 until now. May God bless "The Osmonds" forever! ^^ Peter Chen

My Grandmother took me to see The Osmond’s in the 60’s at Valley Music Hall in Bountiful, Utah. They were just getting started I think. I was a young kid and thought it was great getting a night out with my Grandma. I think she was the best grandmother ever.❤

I really enjoyed watching this show. You can tell the Osmond’s are proud what they have done over the years. When I was a teenager when they were popular in the 70s I remember buying there 45 single’s and 76albums and buying Tiger Beat magazine just to see them. I’m glad I was a teen when they were around.

My uncle, Rulon Garfield, taught Viral in school. I've had many moments with members of them family. The mother's sister married my father's best friend, Pingree, and spent their honeymoon at our house in Petaluma, Ca. One of my grandsons was a roommate to one of the Osmond children Good for the Osmond and the influence they have had for good.
