I've seen so many people think that Draxum would think that Donnies weak because of his soft shell but like... did y'all forget that in the FIRST episode Donnie solos Draxum and almost wins? Like, the only reason he lost was because Mikey tripped him up, like to Draxum, Don must've looked like the most competent out of all of the turtles during that fight (Though it's not the other's fault they were using weapon that were unfamiliar to them)

even with their normal weapons it seems like donnie was the only one to train with his seriously? If I had to guess, it would be to try to earn his brothers admiration because they were obsessed with lou jitsu and donnie wanted to look cool... or it was to release pent up feral/murderous tendencies. We all saw how donnie handled a normal bo when they infiltrated big momma's train!

Plus why would softshell turtles still be around if they were too weak to survive? He would have unique strengths like speed and agility because nature wouldn't just have softshells have all those unique attributes just be useless and a disadvantage

ngl, I sorta wished something like this happened in the show, it would've been really interesting to see this happen. Out of everyone I feel like Donnie was the most mailable to consider going against his brothers, especially since Baron is probably the only other character that could understand his intellect (not including the purple dragons)

Nah Don woudn't do that, it would be like the story in Bnha when Bakugou was kidnapped to make him a villain. It would appear as a possible outcome, but to Bakugou it was just as impossible as for Donnie. Bakugou had his hero winning thingy, and Donnie has his family. So nuh-uh.

I can imagine a guy like Draxum (at least early on) also leaning into his need for adult approval/feelings of usefulness as means of manipulating him. Not gonna say weather or not it would work, but if he somehow noticed those insecurities he would 100% take that route.

Woah!! That fight! That build up! Incredible stuff! The showboating from both parties felt very in character and I adored the part where the battle shell and bo burst through the window! So cool!!!

FAJSAHUFESUI THIS IS SO COOL!!! I LOVE Donnie's expressions and the way Draxum uses the vines to kind of punctuate his words and stuff!! And Donnie's ENTIRE part was just fantastic. Breaking himself out, the way his tech came crashing through the window, I love how he joins in the musical number and *then* calls for help and gets his tech, that's just amazing to me XD and both of their expressions near the end just huifeahfudadisuaw this is so good. This is so good. I love the fight scene especially, the way it kind of amplifies when the song picks up (I'm so tired I hope I'm making sense) is amazing, I love it I love it I love it!
