Through incredible timing, a wonderfully fitting song and solely scenes from the anime without flashy special effects, you were able to fashion such a creative and emotional story! I love how the whole club is included throughout to emphasize how it changed each of them, with a little emphasis on Kyoya and how his time with the club has had such a strong impact on his personality. I can't imagine how much time this must have taken, but it was time well spent! Amazing work!

The timing, the clips, the characters you chose for the parts, are all so gloriously PERFECT that I literally can't I'm not crying over this you're crying I LOVE THIS Seriously, from the beginning with such impeccable timing with even the clock and the leg crossing, to the final chorus because it looks like Kyoya actually ends up growing, I can't get over this. It's so beautifully perfect.

THE SONG FITS SO PERFECTLY. Amazing work

Dude, this is awesome. So many absolutely brilliant parallels between the lyrics and the show, I had to stop and just sit in awe several times at how perfect so many parts were. The song's message and the show's are at their cores very similar, "You can live with what you have and be perfectly fine, or you can take a chance and it can make your whole life extraordinary." Like, I've rewatched this 10+ times, and I'm still finding comparisons that take my breath away. The lip-syncing in general was absolutely perfect the whole way through, and the way the beats and the scenes were perfectly cut together sent chills up my spine. Other parts, like the twins getting pushed being perfectly synced to the glass getting pushed in the music and the snap after were amazing every single time. Every shot feels like it was made for the line, and I could go on for days analyzing frame-by-frame. Showing Tamaki as Phineas sets him up perfectly at his role as the ringleader, the most dramatic, but also trying to find the best in people and help them in his own way. Suave, but secretly .02 seconds away from breaking down. The twins' isolation plot and "out of the treachery and walls you keep in", and Honey's comparison of the toys getting locked up and "You can play it sensible" showed how they tied into the song so quickly and concisely. Kyoya's entire section is especially astounding. Kyoya is hands-down my favorite character in the whole show, and I've never seen anything that summarized his struggle AND his personality sososoososo well. The comparison of his original plot line from the show lines up so well with the lines in the song, and the scenes used drove the point home perfectly. His internal struggle of never living up to his brothers, internally resenting the wealth and power he has because he'll never have it at the same level of his family, showing how his life at home is dreary and grey, compared to Tamaki who is constantly bright, I had to stop and screech for a solid 60 seconds when the frame shot/"Not in a cage so I dont need to take the key" came up, and I swear I could hear the whole thing in his voice, his whole verse politely declining yet throwing in small insults is SO perfect for his character. AND THE MONEY DEBATE SCENE HOLY SHIT!!! Personality wise, this scene really showed why I love Kyoya as a character. His switch from "perfectly charming and innocent" to "evil fucking mastermind" is so smooth and lines up with the lyrics perfectly, his "real" personality shines through, and I could watch it every day for the rest of my life. In short, here's some less rambly responses by some of the friends I sent this to: "Omg that was so well 10/10 makes me want to rewatch the anime" "everything was perfect" "ok that was really good but why are you sending me anime" "go to bed its 4 am" and the gif of Lady Gaga going "talented, brilliant, amazing, showstopping" I really really REALLY loved, this have a great day and I hope you make more great AMVs in the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m coming from Vermillion’s channel- I actually saw this a year ago, but I just realized I probably never commented on the OG and that’s a crying shame! Here’s my original comment, and thank you for such a beautiful and talented video! 😊 💕 💕 💕 I'm watching this for the umpteenth time, and I'm noticing there's this really cool subtle effect going on. When you see them before they "join" Tamaki on the "other side," it's basically greyscale, dull, and colorless, but, once they join, their "world" is basically FILLED with all these vibrant colors! It's most noticeable when it comes to Hunny-senpai's part, when Tamaki brings that soft pink bunny puppet and convinces him, and how dramatic the change is when he joins the "other side," but pretty much all of them are "greyed" and less energetic before they join Tamaki's "circus," and I think that was really cool to incorporate! It really emphasizes how they're trading "that typical for something colorful," and living a little crazy. Plus, Kyoya's part. Notice how most of the color in his POV is when Tamaki or the other Host Club are there, and when it's just him with his "part to play," it's all greyed, morose, and serious in his "whiskey and MISERY and Parties and Plays." Throughout this, Tamaki brings the vibrancy and life into it all. His parts, his "side," are filled with color. They always use "do like you (Tamaki) do" with all this color and energy and FUN, and the others, the "I'm good to do like me (unconvinced members lol)," as the grey, boring/conventional, sides. Sorry for the rant, this is just really cool, haha~ And- The sheer amount of shade Kyoya throws from 1:01-1:26 is honestly hilarious XD his story is sad, but I love how you incorporated his "painting" metaphor thing! It really emphasized his whole "change of heart" part in conjunction to the song. Hunny's Part! The Twins! Heck, even Haruhi who just got shanghaied into it! Tamaki is definitely the crazy, charismatic, eccentric ringleader 😂 He makes a perfect fit for Barnum's part in the song! 👍🏼 I love this editing! That part from 2:01-2:29 is so /powerful/! I love how they used the lightbulb moments from the first ep for this- changing it to those who joined Tamaki's whole "circus," and it just fits so perfectly that I'm practically speechless! Lol that frigging bargaining scene! Kyoya' smirk and the sheer /enjoyment/ he seems to get out of it 👌🏼 😂

I first saw this AMV about 3 months ago on another channel, and I was absolutely blown away! And I don't say that lightly! Usually with stuff like this, you view it, fangirl over it a bit, put it in a playlist, then forget about it, maybe think about it occasionally. NOT THIS! I came back a week later cuz I was thinking about it so much throughout the week and I came and watched it again, and was just as blown away. Over the past 3 months since I've first viewed it, the thought of it has entered my mind so often that I came back to it multiple times after the first week. This has been the absolute most beautiful and put together AMV I have ever seen and it never ceases to amaze me! It still gives me chills when I watch it! Beautiful work! Keep doing what you are doing, because you are doing a DAMN GOOD JOB!
