The Outer Banks of North Carolina just got a lot easier to access

2 жыл бұрынThe "Jug Handle" bridge as it's being called is opening up this weekend. The new bridge bypasses an extremely vulnerable stretch of Highway 12 that is often overwashed by the ocean. The only way to access Hatteras Island by land, this bridge should ensure travelers won't be stranded as often.

@@Logan-ns7uj Bonner bridge and its replacement, plus the new Jug Handle considerably less than 1 bill. Without them 90% of the Outer Banks becomes inaccessible and just dies. Way too large a part of the NC and east coast economy to ever let that happen.

@@frankcastle5294 what about the mid currituck bridge - that's like 250 mil + 150 mil for jug + 300 mil for bonner - pretty close to a Bil - pretty area I agree but lots of bridges
