You don't need to get the quest to get the pistol. I went on an ape killing rampage and found him. Killed the outlaws, and the captain to get his gun.

Just started playing and came across this......you actually can get into the groundbreaker without ever talking to the customs guy, if you go left, around a corner, there's a ladder, take it up, make 2 or 3 jumps, theres even a treasure chest up there. So thanks!

Just found and killed a Mega Sprat under the Edgewater Landing Pad, it was Big. It also had a some loot on it too, plus the was a loot crate. On the ledge above I found a 2 handed weapon called "Landing Pad Cutter" which deals Plasma damage.

You can pickpocket his flintlock off of him, then talk to him, to get two of them.

That giant machine is a Terraformer. Theres lore on that rock that explains why its here. And why you can breathe

In one of the buildings there is a terminal that has a collection of messages from one of the Hephaestus miners about their operation and it mentions the terraformer and the excavator drone. And then ends with the miner being told that he is being shut down for being incompetent or something like that. I thought it was kinda funny.

The best weapon is the pauper popper you can buy it in byzantium if you're doing the board route it's a laser rifle that can't be charged but instead has waaaaay higher fire rate and it does extra crit damage it absolutely rips through everything it's completely broken but because it's locked to the store from akandes secretary most people don't even know it exists lol

Respectfully there is an Error regarding Irion's Flintlock, In the video it's stated that you must have the quest to get Irion's Flintlock........This is incorrect, if you don't have the quest you can just pick pocket the weapon from Captain Irion.

If you pick pocket him before you talk to him you can get 2. 1 from the pickpocket, and one after you talk to him.

Get Irions Flintlock twice... 1. Kill all Bandits 2. If u dont speak to him to complete the quest, Irion will keep sittin at the Campfire 3. Then pickpocket him to steal his Flintlock. 4. Now Talk to him to complete the quest and u get a 2nd Flintlock as quest reward...🤷‍♂️

You can get the weapon without the quest, you just kill him and loot his body.

You can pickpocket Captain Irion beforehand to get a second copy of his unique weapon. Also generic weapons you can find are leveled to your character level. You found a "Impact Hammer MK 2" because your character is Level 30. As a low-level character you can only find an normal "Impact Hammer" in the same spot. Btw. regarding "best weapons", I don't consider any of the unique weapons as "best". They are nice for early game but are totally useless mid- to lategame as they are mostly low-level. It's just too expensive to tinker them to a high level. Also you can not add/change mods on unique weapons. Non-unique MK2/Ultra weapons with mods that got tinkered to level 35 are really the "best" weapons.

Not necessarily, the prismatic hammer (2 handed science melee weapon found on groundbreaker) that thing with proper tinkering, and with all the science perks as well as maxed out science, you will be doing literally thousands of damage per power attack. Also the power attack of that weapon acts as a big area of effect type attack. Meaning you can effectively merk hordes of enemies in one fell swoop.

@@bombthing Yes, Science weapons are different as the tinker cost is capped with higher science skill. So you can easily upgrade them to level 35. But other non-science unique weapons are still useless.

Yeah, I was playing a paranoid character so that is how I got in, but the issue is you still have to talk to the customs agent to get back to your ship.

Your ship still gets impounded yeah, but you can bypass all the customs dialogues if you want. You can just head straight to the guy that has it impounded

@Garritt VS pretty sure he’s said he’s dyslexic, which causes him to misread or mispronounce words at times. Many people with dyslexia have problems with words that aren’t common and therefore they haven’t heard said often. And while I know how to pronounce Scylla, if you think that “Scylla and Charybdis” is a commonly-known phrase that every adult has heard and should be familiar with, you are seriously out of touch with how informed most adults are about Greek mythology. Hell, it’s more common that adults know “deus ex machina” and THAT is often mispronounced.
