This is my most favorite Hotel to stay at in Waikiki…I’ve traveled to Oahu many times ( close to 100 times due to being an airline employee)…I’ve stayed at other hotels,,,but,,,I keep coming back to the “Outrigger”…The hotels hospitality,,,proximity to anything in Waikiki,,,the staff and the total ambiance is something you will not regret…Thanks for sharing your video…

If you don't like all the apple butter people. Please stay at the kaimana beach front hotel at diamond. Head. You will thank me!!

Looks so different post remodel! Thanks for the update! Is there still a Starbucks in the front? And I heard monkey pod went in where the shorebird was. Although I’d rather grab a steak shack lunch and eat in the beach. That’s still right there out back right? I can’t see that going anywhere

Yes the Starbucks is still in the front. The steak shack is just outside on the beach. Not sure about the other spots you mentioned.

Four of us stayed in the suite. We even brought two twin blow up mattresses. The hotel allowed it. We didn’t bother putting away the blow up mattresses. In fact the housekeeping made those beds every day as well.

Hello I saw some reviews that the sand there was rocky. Did you find that to be true?

The sand in front of the hotel is smooth. When you go into the water in some places there are small corals. It’s manageable. In exchange for the minor discomfort of steeping on a dead coral… it that there is a lot of sea life in the area. Turtles can be seen every day. Small and very large ones. So the beach may be more natural than in other places. 👍
