i did not expect that song so when it suddenly started my heart felt like it was yanked out especially when that first picture of ralph came on lmao. seriously though, as the music goes along with the slideshow, it got me sentimental how fast time is. they were just a bunch of guys up-and-coming (some were already bit more famous ofc), then after this their careers skyrocketed, then eventually they got married and had kids, and now they are considered as nostalgias and remembered for this iconic movie along with the beloved characters

You got the ages wrong. The movie was released in 1983, but was made in the spring of 1982. Tommy Howell was born 1966 but in Dec of that year. So in the spring of 1982 he would have been 15. He was 14 at the first tryouts. Same with the other actors ages.
