As an of Irish football supporter, I'm always amused at the lionising of Roy Keane particularly by Irish fans. IMO he should never have been approved as Martin O'Neill's assistant because of his primadonna walkout in Saipan. However, it looks like he might have been given a reality check and an education when he attempted management. His eyes may have been opened and I wonder if he now realises he does not have the right stuff to handle the multi-faceted demands of management. You'd imagine he'd have a little begrudging sympathy for the predicament of Mick McCarthy in 2002 when you consider the FAI was being run by John "the don" Delaney at the time. In reality, its easier be a primadonna than manage one or in some cases eleven of them. LOL
