I got 25 out of 30 correct I somehow failed at Hanzo’s ability name thinking it’s Leap but as soon as the answer came I knew it. Then failed at the last question. I thought I knew all passives but the last question really meant to throw you off. I guessed Wreaking Ball’s Adaptive Shields. I thought of Zarya a lot but didn’t know it was the passive so I get 0/3 and

Makes me wonder if he also has the upcoming hero icons in his mind as well - trying to curb some of those out or possible reworks for current. His mindset isn't the present game, but the future of it.

To be fair, I was also thinking that these abilities probably go through multiple names during hero development, and they have said they usually refer to them with silly nicknames during playtesting and design, so I wasn't surprised that, counter-intuitively, it would be harder for a dev than a player to get correct.

Technically it does have an icon on the hero description screen and in the bottom right in game, but it’s a white side view of the staff and yes it’s not an ability

I won't lie a few of these were very confusing but it doesn't help that us OW players rename stuff to make things easier to say lmao. Window, Bubble, Lamp, Dash, Jump, DM/Matrix, Hook, Block, Boop. Doesn't help that some characters have around 9 ability icons and ability reworks and changes. Quite a challenge to remember the actual names sometimes.

Nah, if you play a game even for a bit getting ability names is really easy. Us as players call them different things because it’s faster and easier to make callouts with in game.

true true. xDD i like to be - no aim, yes brain, i am a support main. xDD i prefer to play heroes that require minimum mechanical skill like lifeweaver and kiriko, with a sprinkle of moira :3 why i was sad that dps doom go bye bye, he was my go to hero when i play dps. :((

I was SO certain that the last one was bait for Zarya's bubble, that the only other thing that I could remember that looked something like that, was adaptive shields for Ball. I was so confident in that answer I didn't even consider that it could still be another ability of Zarya's. But honestly even if I did, I didn't even realize that Zarya's energy is actually a passive, the only icon for passive abilities I've seen (besides newly released heroes) is the one that's a head outline with a lightning bolt in it. This was a really fun video. Great job KarQ!

I kinda wish you would show the icon before people started talking so we could guess without influence. Also, is Bastion's ability just called reconfiguration in OW2? The footage was from OW1, but the title says OW2. Other than that, great video.
