I think my favorite is in one of the Elminster novels where Elminster Arumer remarks on how lazy the plot is. Considering he is a self insert by Ed Greenwood and is voiced by him in the games I think it’s really funny. Especially considering that they have met in the Q&A parts.

This is one of those shows that gets better with more callbacks and details the more you rewatch. Like how as chaotic as luz is, she's the reason the school allows learning more than one kinda magic, which helps later when the emperor's coven comes to the school to brand the kids.
