I saw the oldest living olive tree in Israel and the fact that they never really die because a new tree grows within the tree and the old tree just falls away and the new tree grows out of the old so very cool

Those Coconut Bliss Ice cream Sandwiches are the best! Ingredients are pretty good too compared to other vegan ice cream brands! The cookie part is made with sprouted flour!!

Aww wish I would have ran into ya'll when you were in Eugene! Cornbread cafe is by my hood :) Next time you're in town you HAVE to try Morning Glory for breakfast..its THE BEST! Was that McCreedy hot springs? You must have passed through Gold Beach too that's my hometown. Glad you had fun on your trip! PNW is pretty special!

Hey legend - such a good vid!! Seems like you had a ripper time, you don't need to apologise for eating those foods!! Always important to feed the soul and we know you live a healthy lifestyle 99% of the time. You guys should carry a reusable cutlery set with you! Helps avoid unnecessary single use plastic waste.

Always go to Cornbread Cafe when traveling past Eugene. The chicken fried tempeh is my favorite ❤️❤️ the gravy that it comes with is absolutely amazing.

Fellow Pacific Northwesterner here! I agree it is an absolute dreamworld and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. I'm new to the vegan lifestyle, but I have to give a huge thank you to Derek and Crystal for being so inspirational and giving me a solid foundation for living a plant-based lifestyle. I've never been healthier and am on my way toward getting off the high blood pressure medication I've had to take for years. Thank you!

Looks like you had a great time! I live near the redwoods and one of the secrets is car camping at those state parks in the winter. As long as it isn't raining, the nights aren't very cold and the days are sunny and clear.

Really enjoyed this video. Nice job. I considered moving to Portland once with a job offer, but didn't because of all the depressing rain. Glad your car didn't get flooded! Watch out for those jerky treats...very high in sodium!
