Yesterday Facebook reminded me that my vinyl collection page on FB is already 6 years old.

I make all the posts on this page myself. I tried to invite those who were ready to make posts in the same format as I do them, but there were no takers. After all, I make every post in two languages, English and Ukrainian. I always attach photos of albums in HD quality to my posts. I always photograph albums myself from all sides, covers, additional materials, record labels. In total, I had to make about 20,000 photo albums for my collection page. I attach a short annotation to each album. Sometimes it's a long description, sometimes it's short. Descriptions in English and Ukrainian are often different in content and volume. In this format, I posted thousands of albums from my collection there. I don't know of a single vinyl collector in the world who would create a similar page for their vinyl collection, where there are albums in such variety and quantity. This is my second such page, it has more than 2000 subscribers. Yes, that's not enough. But the interesting thing is that this is already the second such page in my collection! The first page, exactly like this one, was closed by Facebook for reasons unknown to me, but it had subscribers of more than 11,000 Facebook users from 52 countries of the world!!!
Unfortunately, due to the war, I am forced to sell some albums from my collection. But I always sell them only to buyers from Ukraine. After all, I received or brought all my albums from different countries and continents, and I want these albums to remain in my country. Since my country doesn't have much history in releasing and producing albums. Only recently have independent Ukrainian companies released vinyl, but they press it all outside of Ukraine. Although album covers are often printed in Ukraine by our manufacturers.
I post on my collection page every day. And as you know, I also maintain my own video blog on KZfaq, where I talk about albums and artists. I don’t have many subscribers there, about 4800 people, but from dozens of countries around the world.

As you remember, even the BBC became interested in my activities, and they released a radio program on their station in London dedicated to my activities, where I talked for an hour and a half about my journey as a music lover.

Вчора Фейсбук нагадав мені, що моїй сторінці колекції вінілу на ФБ вже 6 років.

Усі публікації на цій сторінці я роблю сам. Я намагався запросити тих, хто готовий робити пости в тому ж форматі, що й я, але охочих не знайшлося. Адже кожен пост я роблю двома мовами англійською та українською. До своїх постів я завжди додаю фото альбомів у HD якості. Я завжди сам фотографую альбоми з усіх боків, обкладинки, додаткові матеріали, звукозаписні компанії. Загалом мені довелося зробити близько 20 000 фотоальбомів для сторінки колекції. До кожного альбому додаю коротку анотацію. Іноді це довгий опис, іноді він короткий. Описи англійською та українською мовами часто відрізняються за змістом та обсягом. У такому форматі я розмістив туди тисячі альбомів зі своєї колекції. Я не знаю жодного колекціонера вінілів у світі, який створив би подібну сторінку для своєї колекції вінілів, де є альбоми в такому розмаїтті та кількості. Це моя друга така сторінка, на неї вже більше 2000 підписників. Так, цього мало. Але що цікаво, це вже друга така сторінка в моїй колекції! Першу сторінку, саме таку, як ця, закрив Фейсбук з невідомих мені причин, але на ній було підписано понад 11 000 користувачів Фейсбуку з 52 країн світу!!!
На жаль, через війну я змушений продавати деякі альбоми зі своєї колекції. Але продаю їх завжди тільки покупцям з України. Адже всі свої альбоми я отримав або привіз з різних країн і континентів і хочу, щоб ці альбоми залишилися в моїй країні. Оскільки моя країна не має великої історії у випуску та продюсуванні альбомів. Лише недавно незалежні українські компанії випустили вініл, але тиснуть це все за межами України. Хоча обкладинки альбомів часто друкують в Україні наші виробники.
Щодня я публікую на своїй сторінці колекції.
Як ви пам'ятаєте, моєю діяльністю зацікавилося навіть BBC, і вони випустили на своїй станції в Лондоні радіопрограму, присвячену моїй діяльності, де я півтори години розповідав про свій шлях меломана.
