Today Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas docks in St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. We were expected to be in San Juan but it was changed at the last minute - we explain why. We spend an amazing day and evening in St Thomas, join us as we tour the island, try local drinks, see one of the most spectacular sunsets we've ever seen and enjoy more yummy food onboard this amazing cruise ship!

We stopped at that gift shop on our first cruise (2004). DH ordered a drink called a Bushwhacker and we watched as the bartender added shot after shot of different liquors. It s a HUGE frozen drink, it was hot outside, and he drank it pretty fast. Well, I had to enlist the help of a fellow passenger to get DH back on the bus. 😂🤣 Thank goodness he’s a lightweight and just slept for the rest of the tour. We still laugh about it when we see BUSHWHACKERs on a menu.

You guys should check out culebra island. It’s part of Puerto Rico but by st thomas. 2 of the 5 best beaches in the world. Much cheaper and safer than the Virgin Islands. We were going to get 12 acres with a house on it for $400k usd.

I got slapped in the face with a giant tree leaf on one of those open air bus and everyone laughed so hard!!! I was shocked but basically ok. Went on to the beach and had a blast!!! Love going there and wish I was there with you both now! You two are the best!!

When looking for sun cream look for one that says dry touch as after about 10-15 minutes you won't have the greasy feeling you have to hunt for it but feels much better than the normal sun cream

Awesome video. We went to US and British V.I. Right before the pandemic on NCL. Who knew it would be 2 years before cruising returned to these beautiful islands. I love the ships at night too. It really is magical. Can’t wait to sail over later this year!
