You guys are my favorite band, no contest. I listen to and like all kinds of music, but I always come back to you. It's just...like coming home, every time. Something settles in my chest, and the rest of the world goes quiet, and I remember that someday I'll be okay again. Each time you come out with a new album, I can't imagine anyobe making a better one, and then the next one is even better. Which is absolutely fucking incredible. So, thank you for that

I imagine us, on an evening like this, watching them live. Just a handful of people, I am sipping my beer, you sipping your gin, the sky is as colorful as it can be, so are we, holding hands, both of us a little tipsy, and the world just seems perfect. This song plays in the background, and it immediately takes us back to the moment we met, and how we fell in love, and how it is the best thing that has ever happened to us.

No better band than The Paper Kites... for years, I've listened to your music and it helps me enjoy anything I do. emotional but calming, easy and heavy at the same time... soft but cuts deep. keep on making great music. Me and my wife were blessed seeing you guys perform live at San Luis Obispo in CA. We were at the front and it was a beautiful experience. More power to you all!

I kinda never realized how imperfect this recording is lol. You can hear the wind bumping against the mic and the cars driving by. But this kinda makes it better:). I never noticed it until this listen and i've listened to this A LOT. Everything else is just so good that the little imperfections either don't matter or make it a more raw and real experience. Art doesn't have to be perfect and sometimes a mistake can make something better than it was originally intended to be. As a fellow musician I appreciate this band for the wonderful art they've been able to make:). ps. if you're reading this, please know that you don't have to be perfect when you create things, sometimes people will love what you make despite those things or even because of them. So no matter who you are, don't be afraid to make stuff. Seriously, it's awesome and you should at least try it lol.
