10 minute free video teaches better than a 2 hour lecture in a class I pay >$1k a semester for. No joke, if I didn't need a piece of paper to be an engineer, I would not be at University

Your E&M videos saved me last year. Now its this video for my dynamics class hahaha. Our prof just said we need to know parallel axis theorem for rotation in rigid bodies but didn't go into the details. This was perfectly explained. Thank you!!!!

if you were to solve for the moment of inertia about the edge of the diagram should the mass be 4kg instead of 8 kg because the radius would zero for the other 4kg?

1:05 "notes I go through the center of mass". very important sentence. I wanted to revers the object and count inertia from other end of object. calculation was wrong. What I had to do, was firs move the axis to the center of mass and then moves again the axis to the end of object. When I did differently, put entire distance in equation and square it, the calculus was wrong.

1/12 ML^2 because it is a rod rotating through cm. Can be derived through integrating R^2 dm or just memorize for rods
