So love the parting glass - he sings it beautifully. It used to be a song for the Irish sons who were about to leave for America and would never return. It was a song to say goodbye at what was really their own wake. Kind of wonderful to pair it with a song about not letting go… ♥️

Thank you for share this wonderful moment with us! This young woman have a beautiful voice and know how to use her gift. Yes and - there were two fine funny moments as i so clear feel, that she ask herself for a little moment: "What am i doing here? Is this realy real?" But very soon after, she sing and enjoy again ♥ :) Ed is one of those wonderful artists they are much more than a "star on stage". He love music and he love, celebrate music with people! :)

The speakers at the venue had to be turned off at a certain time (my guess is that it was because of the German “Ruhezeit” which is at 10pm BUT I could be wrong about that being the reason). Anyway, because of the lack of speakers, he came down into the crowd and sang 4 songs without a microphone or anything. (It was the encore). In order for the crowd to be able to hear, he asked us to be quiet so when she started singing along to Afterglow, he heard her and invited her to sing with him.

She seemed a bit shy and awkward but the whole performance was given completely heart-touching atmosphere by act that Ed did by bringing this girl onstage. That is just moment when you know for sure that it's hard to express the value of it by money or any other measure but for sure it's prize is set by a fact that memory of this moment will be forever carved deep in heart of everyone who witnessed this video or had been there.

I saw him in concert with my daughter here in Houston 12 years ago (I’m 64 now). I’ve never been more afraid of dying as when he came out and everyone on the floor rushed the stage. People (mostly young girls) were getting crushed and couldn’t breathe. They wouldn’t start the show unless/until everyone moved back and provided space for everyone. Great concert but a very scary moment.
