There are aspect of the Mystery I never even heard before and I was raised a Scofield dispensationalist . As you go through this I think of other scripture that strengthens this doctrine even more. It's something that Satan, the most cunning of God's creation, will soon be replaced by the very creature he beguiled in the garden. And not only that, seeing that we will have bodies like Christ himself , this will add insult to injury to Satan and his angels. Thanks for the encouraging words.

ANSWER TO Paul's first Miracle? Acts 13:7-12 KJV - Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith. Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand. Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.

I have a question for you: Most of the teachers and preachers that i have listen to says that the apostle Paul was the first member of the body of Christ which is the church of God. So, what did Paul meant in his letter to the Romans chapter 16 verse 7?

In Rom 16:7, Paul doesn't say that anyone was in the body of Christ before him. He just says that people were in Christ before him. Members of the kingdom program are in Christ (1Pe 5:14).

Sorry my mistake. I meant 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17. What i am trying to understand here about Romans 16 verse 7, is what did he meant. Paul doesn't say in that verse that he was not in Christ, he is saying that those two persons, Andronicus and Junia were in Christ before him. You gave me a reference in 1 Peter 5 verse 14. Does that means that the church at Jerusalem were in christ also? What caught my attention in romans 16 verse 7, is what Paul issaying. Those two that he mentioned were gentiles right? So why does he say that they were in Christ before him? That's what i don't seem to understand. We are All in Christ if i am not mistaking.

Noel I might suggest after reading this several times. That A and J were Jewish kinsmen, that were respected by the apostles and that they are fellow prisoners. That they are fellow Christians BUT were put in prison before Paul's trials being in Christ also thus have been there longer...his way of acknowledging their longer incarcerations. May be wrong but the way I read it.

Yes, the church at Jerusalem was also in Christ. That is what 1Pe 5:14 is saying. Some want to use Rom 16:7 to prove that Paul was not the first member of the BOC. But Rom 16:7 does not mention the BOC; it only mentions being in Christ. The kingdom saints are also in Christ as demonstrated by 1Pe 5:14. Hope this helps.

Here is what paul wrote in Romans chapter 16 verse 7 : Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. I dont get the meaning of 1 Peter 5 verse 14 as a reference that you gave me in your answer.
