To name a few: 1) murali ( 800 test wickets ) 2) warne (700 test wickets ) 3) mcgrath ( 560 test wickets ) 4) wasim and waqar ( 400 test wickets ) 5) shoiab and bret lee ( most lethal pace bowlers 6) ambrose and walsh ( no words to describe them ) 7) saqlain and mushtaq ahmed ( inventors of dusra ) 8) allan donald and shawn pollock 9) chaminda vaas These are just a few legends that he faced and thrashed. There are many others like gillespie, kasprovich, gough, caddick etc. He scored runs everywhere on the face of this planet with such team members like azhar who were in match fixing. Our top order used to collapse everytime until sehwag and gambhir arrived ( much later in sachins career ). In Middle order, especially in odis, there was no centainty. And the less we speak of our bowling prowess, the better. Kohli only had to face one legend in bowling i.e. anderson, and he miserably failed in tackling him too. No doubt kohli is one of the greats, but todays smaller grounds, drs, new bats have too contributed in making life easier. So please, dont undermine sachins acievements. He is the lone batsman who conquered both odi and test cricket.
