I like Penguin cuz he is one of very few Batman villains who's 1. Not criminally insane. He doesn't get locked up in Arkham like everyone else, he goes to a normal prison. 2. Doesn't have a personal vendetta against Batman as his motivation, he'd be doing what he's doing wether Batman is there or not unlike most of Bat's greatest villains

Tom Hardy did an entire film in a car. I don't know where it ranks, but it held my attention. He was like in charge of some construction contract his company had with another, & he completely abandons the gig to be by the side of a women he had an affair with; as she gave birth to their child. Watching him juggle the emotions of his wife, their children, his boss, his subordinate, & the new baby's mother all whilst operating a vehicle was worth my time.

In Farrell’s case, creating the character of this more complex Penguin required his own interpretation, approval by Reeves, and coordination with Mike Marino & team. After it wraps, Farrell will again ride the merry go round of promotions. Don’t tell me actors get a lot of money for a few hours work. If the actor is a big box office draw, he’ll make more. The more seniority I have, the more promotions I get and my salary increases. But people say o you professors teach four days a week, have mornings, afternoons or evenings off, have weekends free and all summer off. (In fact, we have to work a second job summers. I work as an editor.) We’re working very little for a lot of money. We’re slackers. I know a few actors and have been on movie sets. But YOU know all about being an actor. The hell you do.

And his comic chops come out again in Horrible Bosses and The Gentlemen. He knows how to have fun with a part!

The Batman is my favorite Batman movie. Even over Dark Night. Dark Knight had the best villain and soundtrack but the Batman had the best Batman, best themes, best choreography, and great music. It was the most well rounded

I knew going in it would be good, and very hard to beat the Dark Knight, but for me it was the best origin Batman movie. It should be compared to Batman Begins of that series.

We already got a 3hr shitfest of a movie that not only made penguin into a generic mobster with no character or personality but made the dumbest Batman in history so I see no reason to give this a shot, I just watched to see how bad it would be and in that regard it didn’t disappoint. To be clear to date there have been 3 live action penguins all unique in their performances and all worthy in their own right, this has nothing to do with nostalgia but this ludicrous idea that the best way to make a comicbook movie is to make it nothing like a comic book and slapping on 7hrs of makeup and prosthetics doesn’t suddenly make your performance good it just means they wasted all that time and talent on a mediocre performance.

The Batman made about as much money as Thor love and Blunder that’s not exactly something to brag about. There’s already a Penguin series it’s called Gotham and it was mind blowing
