With enough people working together, an a cappella version of "Love is A Battlefield" can be totally inspiring.

About South Park: South Park is the Emmy and Peabody-award winning animated series co-created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone about four boys living in one screwed-up Colorado mountain town. @@shadowofhawk55 Ngl that’s not the most accurate portrayal of pre-Columbian societies, Native American military and political history was pretty dynamic before European arrival and I wouldn’t consider introduction of Western cultural/traditional aspects to have “stunted” Native culture just like how no one serious thinks Roman influence “stunted” Slavic or Germanic cultures. US policy was absolutely shameful and this isn’t to absolve the genocide of the population, but it does more harm then good to portray them as passive actor in the story of colonization.
@shadowofhawk55
@shadowofhawk55 2 жыл бұрын
@@zandaroos553 Really? This could be the American school system trying to guilt me, but I coulda sworn their kids would be rounded up and forced into Christian Schools to be taught the "proper" way of living. I do agree that painting them as passive actors is a horrific dishonor to the Natives, they fought hard, bled their conquerors hard, and still stand defiant today.

@@shadowofhawk55 Oh yes residential schools were a real thing, but also that impacted a minority of native population mainly concentrated in the Western US/Canada during the 1800’s.
