The People Vs. Vegas Dave: The Vegas Dave Movie
David Oancea, better known as Vegas Dave, is the most renowned sports bettor of all time. Dave was able to do what 99% of the world could not do, and that's beat Las Vegas, but not just beat them, but beat them for millions and millions of dollars
Daves success led him to getting banned by all of the Las Vegas casinos, and when it could not get any worse, the casinos teamed up with the federal government to come after him. Dave was later indicted by the feds on 19 alleged felony accounts and faced up to 40 years in prison.
If you like sports, gambling, drama, motivation and inspiration, this movie is for you. This is definitely a one of one, there is nothing like this story.

Before watching the movie, I already had an idea of the kind of man that you are because of the things that you choose to speak about. You’re extremely family centric and this is a rare trait in the western world today. However, after watching the movie, I got a sneak peek into WHY you are the man you are today and that is because of those two angles who raised you. We got to witness your parents stand by you every step of the way. Mom and dad did an amazing job at instilling proper values and principles into their boy. They don’t make them like those two anymore 🙏So, although my opinions of you did not experience significant changes because of how much I have followed you over the years, I was able to gain valuable insight into what made you into the man you are today. May god bless your parents ♥️

What I have learned from this movie is that even at your lowest lows, never give up. That when you feel like the world is against you have to embrace it and not give a F***. My favorite part was when you were praying to god saying “idc about the money, just let my mom live until the World Series and watch the royals win” it was so pure and that’s the side a lot of people don’t see in you. You’re an amazing guy and they don’t call you the GOAT for no reason!! 🐐

The part that was moving to me was when you took off in your Ferrari and you told yourself, I can do this, my parents will kill me but I have a gift. I can do it!! (Part 3/7) After watching the documentary, it all makes sense now. I learned the TRUE Vegas Dave. It always bothered me that when I booked my one way flight to Vegas that I left my FAMILY behind. The thing that I love about your story is that for the most part you spend as much QUALITY TIME with your family as humanly possible. The love that you have for you parents and the love that they have for you was clearly evident. It taught me not to be fooled by all the illusions of the cars, watches, girls and bottles. The most important things in life is the health and love of the ones closest to us.

My favorite part of the film was when you went to different hotels to have well-known athletes sign basketballs. I loved that you re-sold those items to make a profit. Pure genius and brilliance. You started as a young entrepreneur and ACHIEVED GREATNESS. Great documentary!!!

Man! Biggest take away from the movie is easily "If you don't bet yourself no else will". But great movie! It's crazy how you were way ahead of everyone knowing exactly your moves knowing you wanted out of the party life but you couldn't just toss it so fast! You literally leveraged that side of your life to put this inspiring movie together! Very inspired from the movie cause it really only takes one opportunity to change your life 🙏🏽 Great movie once again!

I saw this film over the weekend & im so glad I stumbled into this gem.... I got my whole family to watch! One of my favorite parts was when you shared helping some of the most vulnerable in Mexico & did it humbly & enjoyed doing it. Also, I loved how you NEVER gave up & persevered in the end!!!! Often times it works out that way & we should all have that tenacity if we keep fighting for what we believe in ❗️❗️❗️👊

I'M PROUD TO SAY THAT I'M GLAD I USED 2 HOURS OF MY LIFE WATCHING THIS AND IT CHANGED ME IN AN INSTANT... Love this documentary! Really appreciate the inspiration. My mom had to go through multiple BYPASS Surgery and my father and sister had already passed away more than a decade ago. Dave, your love for your family really gut me here. BEAUTIFUL STORY. OMG, your father's'' story remind me of my life story I was born and raised in Communist country Albanian! Besides I had to escape the communism through bullets, people in America don't know it how good they have here in the USA. I wish my son & my daughter can see what we had to go through do to come here so they can have a better life that we had in Albania! I wish they can go there and see it even today is not better than is to live here in the USA! As a parent I can say you would make your parents proud, most children take risk but you are a crazy risk taker and I admire you for that because I took a risk when I escaped from communist regime and immigrated to USA! and still take risk in life! My favorite part was your parent's reaction when they first saw their dream home and Dave's reaction to his parents reaction. It was a meaningful priceless moment for a family that grew up as a middle class family. I learned that you have to believe in taking risks in order to be successful.

Wow what a legend! So many good parts can’t name my favorite.. So I will just summarize! 1st has to be the genuine love you have for your parents, still living with them by choice and giving them the dream home you’ve always wanted to! Secondly, the fact that you was getting money at a young age, always hustling and getting to it! No wonder why your mom always believed in you and knew you was going to be successful! Lastly in the end your dads advice!!! Betting on yourself!! All the betting you have done and how successful you have been at it of course betting on yourself would pay off! Favorite part of the movie is seeing your relationship with your parents and how much they truly mean to you. Watching you tear up while reading those cards reminded me of my relationship with my parents. I to have put my parents through a lot of pain and suffering through decisions I made in my past. I'm a recovering drug addict, and just celebrated my 5th year of sobriety. I am currently the best I've ever been in my life mentally, spiritually, and physically. Much love to you and your family. God is good.

My favorite is when he gave his parents a gift, that is very very good to see you pay back all the sacrifices of your parents. All the success you made, you deserved it. Of course if you are called success, you share your blessings and thanks to Him. As a whole, your movie was inspirational. Hope you will choose me.

My favorite part of the movie,was when you close out 8 loans in Sale’s and won Denver Broncos for 2.3 million and kc royals 2.5 that’s history and selling sport cards wow and biggest blessings to your parents that paid off your debt and went to GAmeetings and you never gave up on your self that’s why you’re the best wow speechless God bless your parents and you.🐐🙏🏻🕊
