This is actually explained in the books. The Gods don't have DNA so technically none of their children are related. And while people draw the line with half-siblings, it's fine to date children of other gods. Cuz while they refer to each other as cousin, they aren't really related.

Facts. Is always why the Greek gods all end up having kids with each other cause no DNA. They're really just family by saying they're family and coming from the same set of parents

He shows up in HERCLES'S family tree, Hercules isn't related him at all because one is Greek and second Roman, and even if Hercules is just Roman version of Heracles, they aren't the same person

yeah, they all have common ancestry in Chaos, and from chaos they split in 4 main blood lines, that from time to time have children with each other, for example, as she mentions Percy and Medusa, they have a common ancestor in Gaia, the same goes for Percy and Echidna, they have a common ancestor in Gaia.

I'm not worried about if I ship Percy and Annabeth but you remember that gods don't have DNA, right? Well, I think all the gods saw themself as siblings for reason because they were made by gods too or made by creation?
