This is so encouraging! Always imagined not being fit enough for hikes in Yosemite but you've put that to rest and the scenery is stunning! Thanks so much for showing us the way!

We were JUST in Yosemite and had a beautiful coat of snow about the ground. The hotels get booked super fast, but you can get something outside of season. Your air bnb looks like it was great! Yosemite Falls is just beautiful. Some roads were closed while we were there, so we didn't get to see glacier point, but we did ice skate so I suppose it's all a trade off. Something amazing every time of year.

I heard Yosemite is pretty different during the winter so you definitely experienced a different side of the park! I'm sure it was just as stunning, if not more.

Great video. And I like that you tell us how difficult the trails are. I’m going this weekend with my 6 year old and his little legs can only walk so much after being gone for so long.

So happy to hear that this video helped you out! We're all about the easy hikes, so you'll do great at Yosemite with your 6-year old. The only hike that was tough, as you saw, was Mist Trail. Have a great time!

You ladies did it the right way by spending a week out there and going on adventures instead like me going on these on day tours that show you only a 3rd of Yosemite

Tours are great if you want additional information on various sites, but you do lack the freedom of being to explore additional places. Hope you'll get to visit again so you can explore more next time :)

I recommend it we have gone 3 times in the last 2 years, it puts into perspective how small you are. I reccomend going april-early june. Or early winter. Before summer a lot of the park isnt open, but theres not a lot of people, and its much cheaper for campsites. The yosemite store is surprising inexpensive. Also. Its ugly in the dead of summer. And i recommend hitting bodie while youre there too. Its on the back side if you take tioga pass out.

Last I heard, you are NOT supposed to go into the water or even climb the rocks at lower Yosemite Falls. People have died doing that or been seriously injured. Guys, this is NOT Disneyland or an amusement park. It is the Wilderness. So unless they put a swimming pool in at the lower falls, stay on the bridge or the safe areas. Check with a ranger.

Beautiful your video!!, Can you guide me? In what order do you recommend visiting Yosemite? I arrive at Oakhurst on the night of July 18 and leave at noon on July 20. I want to visit mariposa grove, glacier point and Vernall fall but I'm worried about parking.
@travelpockets
@travelpockets 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The only place you have to worry about parking is probably Vernal Fall, so I would get there first thing in the morning. The other two places should be fine with parking after you're done with Vernal Fall. If Mariposa is full, you might have to wait for parking. For Glacier Point, most cars parked on the side of the road.
