He edits his videos professionally. Alot of what makes his videos so great (other than his life giving positivity) is how he edits his stories. Elegant cuts, featuring what matters, having a good idea of what it will look like in the end as he is filming it, and the content itself being really substantial. He also has a way of turning a very self obsessed youtube genre into what feels like a genuine and generous expression of his life and hopes. I fucking love the guy.

Casey, you are so right. In the adventures of life it seems to me that the ones that were the most difficult, dangerous, or extreme in some outrageous way are the ones most fondly remembered. Perhaps a little hardship is the 'spice' of travel that morphs into nostalgia. So true what you say about the mind 'editing out' what's bad so that the memory of it becomes sweet even though the reality was bitter. There is also a sense of satisfaction in having survived, persevered, and accomplished something difficult and rare. One thing for sure, you are living a good life. I commend you.
