This was a very good review. I really respect the M340i. I've heard great things about the B58 engine. I hope you enjoy it. BTW... you may want to join a 3-series owners group and ask about the rattle. There may be a DIY solution.

I just picked up the new 2023 m340. I traded in my 2020 m340 and honestly I wish I had bought it out at the end of its lease. You really got the real deal with that model. Exhaust sounds was better in the older model and the infotainment is also superior. Great find, congratulations on the car

I bought a 2020 BMW M340xi with 6,322 miles premium package black on black 3 years ago. I paid $49000.00 for it from a BMW dealership in Kentucky. I had it shipped to me here in Pacific Northwest and it was the best move I’ve made in 2020. I replaced the grill, the vents in the front bumper and added some black skirts with carbon fiber mirror caps and a larger carbon fiber fin on the trunk. I also replaced the diffuser with a glossy black one and black exhaust tips on the exhaust system. The last thing I did was had ceramic coating installed on the paint and it looks pretty nice!🤩

@LaFlem check if your ambient lighting is properly glued on...sometimes its the reason for the rattle...

AHHHH man, great video. So crazy that you traded in a 2018 Touring 2.0T for this. I also own a 2018 Accord Touring 2.0T and have been researching various cars to upgrade to. I was going in the direction of the new TLX Type S, but the performance numbers for the type S is disappointing. I also was waiting to see what Honda would do with the next gen Accord, but looking at what they released, it's a total lackluster of a motor that they're putting in the 2023 Accord. The M340i xDrive is top of the list.

Welcome to BMW. I can feel your emotions and adoration as you're talking about your car. That was the same feeling I had when I purchased my first BMW more than 17 years ago. I also used to own Hondas, and once I started on the BMW journey, I never looked back. You'll soon find out that all the FUDs about BMWs are old wives tales from yesteryears. My first BMW (an E46) held up better than any Hondas I've ever owned, and when I finally sold it after 120K miles, it was practically new with what essentially were just maintenance bills. I'm now on my fourth BMW, we have 2 in the family and I couldn't think of a better combo for what they bring as far as completeness. Quietly, BMW has become one of the most reliable cars you can buy on the market today. You mentioned a rattle on the right door, were the upgraded speakers part of an OEM package or aftermarket? If they're not the Harman Kardon, you might want to remove the door panel to see if anything is loose, otherwise take it back to the dealership. Enjoy.

Concrats with your great new car. The g20 is excellent. We have 2 at home. One of them had a rattle on the passenger (right) side. The dealer replaced the roof window frame, after that rattle was away except on driving on bad roads. I played around changing the height of the passenger seat and that helped. It looks like there is some play in the seat frame structure. Maybe it is the same in your car, but worth checking. Rattles are sometimes very difficult to locate Cheers from the Netherlands

I have a 21 Altima the m340 definitely has my attention I’m not a fan of the newer ones so I been looking at 2020-2022. Here in North Carolina I have seen some in mid to high 40k range so I’m trying to decide what to do Keep doing your vids they help a lot

Beautiful car! I daily a black on black ‘22 BMW 330e XDrive MSport which I am really enjoying! You’re right, the Laser lights are awesome! My last BMW was a ‘17 435i Gran Coupe. That inline six is to die for and the G20 version has 82 more HP than my last one! This time around the focus was fuel efficiency and because I plug in every night, I’m able to do my commute entirely on electricity, but can still use it for road trips on gasoline. Maybe my next one will be an M340i! 🤔

Hi Justin, Congratulations on your car and thanks for sharing your thoughts on it. I picked my M340i up last Saturday. They are great cars, but, I also have an annoying rattle/ creaking noise that only came to my attention when I first drove it on back roads (they're pretty awful in the U.K.!) I checked everything I could think of to try and find it to no avail. Like you, it's driving me mad! , especially as I've owned an M3, M2 Comp. and an M440i in the last few years and none of those cars had any rattles etc. Anyway, long story short, my partner Googled it and it turns out that it is well documented that the sunroofs rattle/ creak! To the point of BMW issuing a bulletin about the issue. And yes, it is the sunroof (In my case) which makes sense as none of my other BMW'S had sunroofs. Try driving with your sunroof open (weather permitting!) and see if it goes away. If it is that then it's covered under warranty. Or just turn your Harman/ Kardon up😂 Anyway, happy motoring and I look forward to more videos.....

The rattle is maybe the passenger seat, it's weird but if you adjust it a little it may go away...

The new LCI with fake gloss diffuser, fake pops from speakers, and an Ipad replacing the dash and gauges is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I'm honestly terrified of what future BMW will be bringing with next gen electric vehicles. I feel like I'll be buying used combustion cars until I die.
