My youngest son Kay Kay got some 26's for his ride over at Elite Motorsports in Woodland and the first thing he said is "dad, i need brakes and then a drop kit". He asked if i would help him install them if he buys them. Of course i would! So he did and we did! The brakes were done in a previous video. fuck ya bro, it is priceless to me. Teaching him things i was never taught. Working on cars (with my sons) when nobody ever helped me work on cars is a blessing to me. I love it more than anyone know's. Thanks Chris!!

This video actually inspired me to do this on my 2007 Tahoe LTZ with AutoRide. I thought a drop kit couldn't be done, but after seeing your video I did a ton of research and found the prefect kit!

Man that's so much easier than my 2000 silverado. . I had to do upper and lower control arms. .. that's a breeze with the just the coilovers. .. looks great guys

actually i have a lot....i love Harbor Frieght. Just not for anything i need to last. But for jobs that i don't use the tool very often it's perfect.

I know that guy, Tony...NorCal _SS. Met up with him in Kansas City for a TBSS meet back around 08-09. Super cool guy. Helped our community out with front lower control arms, among other things, to correct ball joint angle. They weren't correct from the manufacturer, so he personally fixed them, along with supplying grade 8 hardware before we got them. Top notch guy!

I’m going to check it out and see what you all went with for the install. We got some 24 x10 wheels on 31” tires. This is definitely a stance I’m going for. When we drop those 8 to 10 18s, amps, wood, acrylic windows in it, my ESV is going to sag and i know I’m going to need helper bags.

I'd recommend picking up the Milwaukee M12 3/8" stubby. It is a nice interim between your snapon and the m18 mid or high torque impacts. Light and compact with 250 foot pounds of breakaway torque.

Sick looking !! After cutting off the bump stop bracket, did that leave a hole to the frame ? Did the mod or kit come with a plate or anything to cover the hole ? Where I am from with all the snow and salt on the roads, a hole like that would kill my frame in no time flat!

nah bro, it is still a solid frame under it. That bracket is just welded on it.

Wow, what a stunner! Did my BT 3 inch drop shackle kit in rear last month and it is now perfectly level. 17' LS RCSB 5.3 RWD 10K miles-22" inch snowflake replicas with Yokohama Parada Spec X 28545R22 truck/street (road force balanced and rides nice at 77Mph+ so I know it is not the tires /wheels) but still have intermittent Chevy Shake at 64-75 mph (-63 mph ride is OK) . Bulletins are all over the place when it comes to diagnosing the issue and Chevy is, of course, in denial. Any insights?
