I have this pocket traveler notebook, and NEVER thought about having 2 o 3 notebooks inside. I'm mind blown!

I have personal, work, and scratch pad (3 in one). It's awesome.

One of the best parts of these every day carry pocket notebook leather covers is the patina developed over the years of use - so if mine broke I would be incredibly heartbroken! Also, no one ever talks about paper republic; they have such a great company culture and the leather is such great quality - and vegetable tanned. No use of chrome, which is really hard to find in these leather covers! I'm obsessed with my red leather pocket size. I can't wait for the patina. I've been obsessively watching youtube videos about set up and use. Super hyper-fixated on these rn.

I'll have to check them out! I'd love to do more stationary focused content in the future. I'm also a big fan of seeing how leather wears over time. One of the big benefits of being a bible lover, too 😎

I just got mine today and I am impressed with how sturdy it is! For EDC I am planning on being super basic, but for my upcoming México trip I am sooooo tempted to use inserts!! I can’t wait to make and write memories using this cover. God bless you!

It's very fun to play around with different inserts! I hope you're able to find what works for you. I pray your trip goes well. Thank you for your kind comment :D

I just started sewing/binding my own “field notes” books. I love the idea of keeping my prayer list in the back and move backwards as new ones come on and older ones roll off. I’m also a leather worker so I definitely need to make a wrap like that. God bless.

That's awesome! I hope to dabble in leatherwork at some point. Thanks for commenting!

I was looking at the Traveler's Company options but your video sold me on this system. I think it will work for my need to have instant access to my notes, but also keep my hands free as much as possible. Thank you!

I was waiting for someone picky like me to post such reasons. I too am annoyed of the side knot, and the whole reason of me buying pocket size anything is simplicity and not adding solutions to silly problems. I ended up ditching my Midori one and went and bought a PAPER REPUBLIC from top drawer store, it's has the same band placement, but the one you're showing even better since the bands don't have knots at all. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for this review. I bought that exact same notebook cover based on your review. I must say that it is a lovely cover and it is great value for money. I really like, so much, I’m considering getting their larger size too.

I have a passport size one I made myself from a piece of leather from an old notebook cover that looks pretty much the same as yours. I put 4 elastics along the spine so I don't need to loop separate notebooks together with bands. Compared to the expensive price of a TC one I saved big dollars.
@WontonDiscipleАй бұрын
@@vloggingwithtony I'd love to try doing that myself, someday! Thanks for your comment

I just ordered it, I also have a larger size of this notebook and it is exceptional. However, I needed a more pocket-sized format and this is really perfect. I didn't want to give up a certain style without having to break the bank to take a Midori as an example.

It's crazy how expensive some of these pocket sized journals are. Still loving this journal every single day.

Well done ...I like your organizational management skillz in your pocket EDC journal. Having a "GET SH!T DONE" list on the back of the book, makes alot more sense than my system...which is in the middle of the book ...it takes a bit of time, to locate it unless I highlight the edges of that section.
@WontonDisciple4 ай бұрын
Thank you! I almost chose to do mine in the middle, too, but I was worried my notes would fill up faster than my to do lists. I needed a way to use up my notebook space as efficiently as possible.

@@WontonDisciple despite it being “non Christian”, it got me through a rough patch in life…at least the first two seasons where it was like watching a short horror movie.
@mehulmartin22664 ай бұрын
Despite it not being Christian. As Christians I think it’s okay to like/appreciate and even love non Christian works (love not worship or idolize). As long as it doesn’t draw us away from the love of God and the grace of a Christ.
