I know it’s a crazy theory, and I’ve been thinking a lot about this, but I believe this is the video that ressurected the Minecraft community on KZfaq. Before this, UHC was nearing its total death and creators were quitting Minecraft for something else. In mid 2019, this video randomly started getting recommended to a LOT of people, and new creators started uploading UHC to try to get a lucky game as this one, or even craft valuable items to put on titles and thumbnails (Wisp), and with that, these creators started uploading minecraft challenges, like the randomized items and multiplied items, giving space for bigger names like Dream and Boffy (also with Pewdiepie and SMP Live’s boost), and UHC did better than ever for a while, until loads of hackers ruined it since late 2020

Its aight, i myself was a player back then and i totally agree with the fact that the mc community ( at least in the pvp genre ) was toxic af but the game itself was way better in my opinion. From the smooth pvp servers to the 1.7 blockhitting etc. I do play minecraft from time to time still but in a pvp sence its just not the same. And most pvp servers are gone and replaced by new worse ones. Thats just my opinion though :)
