Nice review. The A6700 is one of the most underrated cameras on the market. I think this was because of a lot of underwhelming reviews in the first days of the camera. But everyone who choose this camera and really tried it, was blown away about how good this little thing is. This is the cheapest full production camera on the market today.

Congratulations on the excellent review you have done, Umar. Would you know if the Sony Alpha 6700 camera has a recording time limit for 4K 30 fps or 4k 60 fps?

Thank you so much for watching! I didn’t do a comprehensive test myself, but based on talking to fellow reviewers - 4K 24FPS - About 45 mins 4K 30FPS - About 30+ mins 4K 60FPS - About 26 mins I would recommend waiting a bit for someone to do a proper test on KZfaq tho :)

Omg! You have put me into a dilemma. Now struggling, which camera to choose. The full frame A7C or this. Benefits, I assume with this is that the lens will be cheaper for APSC. Which would you recommend? I want a camera to shot travel vlogs and small budget YT video. torn up between the zv-e1 and a6700 now. what would you choose? would you choose zv-e1 just because it has good low light or you would be happy with a6700 cause it isn’t that bad in low light.

You and me both mate! I would choose the ZV-E1 just because of the Full Frame sensor and low light. BUT if you think the lens choices for full frame are far too expensive, this is a VERY close second in performance. For photos though, this would beat out the ZV-E1.

@@piggystriker2 smaller, lighter, 6.2k open gate, way less risk of overheating (modular, as it also can use the heat fan from Fuji) only thing this has over it its the autofocus.

@@alldreamsmedia Open gate is the only real one up I see there. I wouldn’t exactly call that wiping the floor. A6700 can film 20 minutes of 4k 120fps in 10bit until it overheats, depending on ambient temps. I don’t see why anyone would need to film any longer than that, in that high a format.

If you’re talking about strictly shooting video, the FX30 is the better option. The A6700 is a great hybrid for both photos and videos. You’ll be satisfied with both for sure. :)
